If anything...the VM is what tips this more towards truth than rumor. I would love to see Brazil in the lineup at Epcot! I'm guessing it would go between Morocco and France...or China and Germany?

that is what I was wondering, where in the world they are going to put it. It would be nice to see a new land. I am guessing it will be like Italy and Germany and not have a ride, just some restaurants and gift shops, I cant imagine that there is enough space to put much else.

Good thing about Brazil is that they have great music/entertainment and food. So, I could definitely see them making the most of their space like Germany and Italy.

How many times have there been rumors like this and everyone was pretty sure it was going to be the focus of a planned annoucement (which later comes to be for some other product and service)?

Bah, don't spoil or fun. Wild speculation is what we live for!
I think Brazil is a *great* idea, since South America isn't represented at all. They could have a soccer pitch, or at least a beach soccer pitch and have live demonstrations! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAL!

No, it's wild disappointment is what you live to create.
Anyway, it's not like EPCOT hasn't had Brazil already for many years - when can you to EPCOT and not run into a massive BTG (Brazilian Tour Group)?

Very true, Mindflipper. There are always massive Brazilian groups every time I go it seems!

Well then I guess a Brazilian pavilion would seem to have a huge amount of support.

Personally, I'm going to remain skeptical until I hear an announcement, rumors of new pavilions have been popping up for years with nothing. Although, as was stated earlier, the VM was interesting. Of all countries to add, Brazil is actually a great choice. Between food and music, itd definitely be a festive addition. Plus with the 2016 olympics just a few years away, itd be a great way for Brazil to display their culture to a large number of people who might not normally travel there. As far as locations in the park though, they actually have tons of space for more pavilions.

Fine, then they are totally going to build it and this lady will provide passionfruit trees for the area (yes, those are real passion fruit, and yes she is in Brazil)

Very interesting. I for one love the rumor mill and will just wait patiently until it is announced before I show any emotions.
The more interesting thing will be where does Disney put Brazil? Do they make use of the Odyssey or Millenium buildings? Do they squeeze them somewhere else. This could get VERY interesting.

This would be great news, as Epcot's World Showcase hasn't had any type of expansion in forever. I am sure they have the space for at least 3 more countries, so I think if we are going to expand, go the whole nine yards and add some Russia, Argentina, and Australia in there too

I think the main reason why there haven't been/will probably not be any expansions (except for the rumors about why Israel wasn't added) to the showcase is that no companies/governments want to saddle the economic burden to get it built. So it will probably end up right next to Spain in the trashcan of rejected ideas.
I think the big problem is space, while they do have physical land to use, they may have crowding issues. But mostly, it's the lack of money, which is why the presentations feel so dated.

Aww, I was quite looking forward to a Spain introduction.

I could just imagine a Toledo themed pavilion with a Spanish guitarist playing outside a restaurant.
Oh, well. Nothing wrong with Brazil!
