Ordering from the Disney Store's website
Ok, so last week I ordered something from the disney store for my mom because they didn't sell those clothes in the parks. So my packaged arrived and everything expected was there but then there was a D23 Dopey Ringer tee in the box too. I checked the shipping papers and saw nothing about it and nothing on any confirmations. Did I miss some promo or something or did a packer mess up? I have never ordered from them before, and am not a member of D23, so I don't know what goes on there.
The really weird thing was that it was in my size, either way free/stolen shirt.

I'd say you lucked out, especially if you aren't a D23 member ~ it had to have been a packing error. Merry Christmas to you!Wizzard419 wrote:Ok, so last week I ordered something from the disney store for my mom because they didn't sell those clothes in the parks. Yay, they actually were a lot less expensive than I expected too since everything was on sale.

I would really enjoy that. I guess Disney sent you a free gift.
I will say, the Disney store has excellent customer service. My mom ordered a Doonney & Bourke for the holidays. We received it and thought all was well. Two weeks later I get an email from the Disney store informing me that they forgot to put the dangling heart on it and it is being mailed out to us at no charge.

Think this will fit into this topic. Tomorrow, 4/22 in the States, and Saturday 4/23 in Canada, if you bring in 5 disposable plastic sacks, they will give you one free Disney reusable tote in return...

That's why I included that partmomeja wrote:Cute sack. I might do it. (On the 23rd, as a "guest in Canada" )
I am considering it, although I am weighing the amount of gas required to get to the mall against "recycling" 5 sacks into one. Think I will be doing more harm to the environment than good

Goodness, Amy. How far is the mall from your house?Amy wrote:That's why I included that partmomeja wrote:Cute sack. I might do it. (On the 23rd, as a "guest in Canada" )

I'm thinking about taking the kids to see Big Cats today, this year's Disney Earth day film. It looks good, and we liked the last two.

Re: Ordering from the Disney Store's website
The mall is about 16 miles away ~ one way. I did end up going by the way. I took 10 sacks and said one was for my Mom and they surprisingly gave me two bags. I thought they would be a stickler for the rules and say no, but I guess they were feeling kind today. I bought a few of the other reusable sacks they had on sale too. It will be more fun getting groceries in Disney bags now!
I combined the trip with going to the bank and Macy's was giving away a bottle of cleanser if you brought them an empty bottle of your brand of cleanser. Luckily I had one that was almost empty.
So, it's probably not quite a wash on damage to the environment vs. my "free" things today, but at least I combined several things

Wait, why are you carrying around empty bottles in your purse?

Re: Ordering from the Disney Store's website
No, no, no. I emptied the bottle at home, threw it in the sack with the other required 9 plastic sacks for recycling at the Disney store. The Macy's lady wanted me to throw my sacks into the recycle bin with the cleanser bottle. Really lady?! Puh-lease! Those were my golden ticket at the Disney store!!Wizzard419 wrote:Wait, why are you carrying around empty bottles in your purse?
