my dad has been a member since before i was born (so about 18 years) and everytime i go with my family we eat there. it is GREAT food and a great experience. characters sometime come through, and it's a great view of new orleans square. and great artwork from the mansion and pirates and other attractions. and i'm not sure if you've heard or not, the women's restrooms are club 33's claim to fame, there are toilets in the bathroom that are made out of gold and considered "thrones" i've never really seen them, only pictures (there's a reason for that). although it is a little pricy, if you find yourself wanting to wait and pay the money, it is DEFINITELY worth it.

I've dined there and thought it was fantastic! A few years back I took my girlfriend, her brother and their cousin. It was the brother's birthday and sort of a secret present for him on his first ever visit to Disneyland. The food was excellent, the service outstanding and the private balcony viewing of Fantasmic was priceless. All in all a very memorable evening that was worth every penny.

There is no way I could afford those prices. I'd have to be rich and famous (or just rich!) in order to become a member of that. I'd only want to be invited as a guest to dine there, at least once to experience it.

What I said in the last post was correct. You can make a reservation for the Fantasmic balcony seating/dessert for about $50 per person. I tried but it was already booked. Make your reservations 25-30 days in advance so you have them. I did that for my walk in walts tour I did today, and my Blue Bayou lunch. next year I will do the Balcony , Or if I decide to go in July for the opening of the new POTC.

My logic is, being 17 years old, if I find the place to put my name on the waiting list I might be able to get in to the club by the time I'm like 80. LOL! Just kidding. I'm reading a book on Disneyland and I just finished the chapter on New Orleans Square. One of the things I found that was pretty interesting about it, is that Walt and Lilly, with the help of Emile Kuri and Dorthea Redmond, decorated and designed Club 33. Since Walt died before New Orleans square was completely finished, the imagineers decided to leave Club 33 exactly the way that Walt and Lilly had originally designed it. The book is called "Disneyland Detective" by Kendra Trahan. So look it up online and check it out!

A friend of mine who lives in LB just went to Club 33 with a group from Anaheim Memorial, she loved it. It was the first time she had been there and so many other of my gal pals on my e-mail loop (we all grew up in So. Cal) didn't know about Club 33!! I was like YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME?? LOL, they said "not all of us are Disney Fanatics like YOU Claudia!"
I told them it makes me the special one of our gal pal group. HA HA HA I was looking at jobs at the corp offices in Burbank, wouldn't mind moving back to sunny California, but guess I will stay put for now. If I did move back I would love to put my name on the list and join Club 33 .. someday....like after I won the lottery
