Amy - On the Magic, Memories and You show... It's definitely a MUST-SEE. It is amazing and YouTube videos cannot do it justice. There is one part where they project the castle to look like it is made of LEGOS, then they switch a few of them around. It is really amazing and I can't wait as I'm sure this technology will be used more in the parks.

As a side note for the Haunted Mansion. I don't know if anyone has posted it, but the AA hitch-hiking ghosts are back at the end. The mirrors are still gone, but it was nice to see the actual ghosts there and not just projections.

A couple of comments---
-Fellow lefty here also! I know where I am headed next trip!!
-Thanks for the videos...It's nice to put a "voice to a face" so to speak

-A quick visit, but you got a lot done and even got to meet some more SubSonic'ers! How awesome is that?!!
-I am sooo jealous that you saw the new HM queue--I can't wait!!
-I agree about Philharmagic---It's so awesome, yet it's always empty. They give out those phony "bonus" FP's to it when the parks are crowded to get some butts in the seats. Remember my "road trip" trip report? The one guy we went with says it was the best attraction we saw all day. Ahhh, who knows *sigh*

Thanks for the pictures of places from the water. We've never been out that way other than taking a quick ferry boat at night so that is a totally new perspective for me.
Ooo, so there is a reason for the popping books! I wondered! I need to find a good video and work on the encryption ~ I love a good puzzle

Although it is probably, "When the crypt door creak and the tombstones quake, spooks come out for a swinging wake...."

Is TREX kinda like a dinosaur themed Rainforest Cafe? The photo in the ice cave looks cool

WWDRH - Thanks bud.. but the voice in the video was not my real voice... that's my Disney, squealing like a kid voice. My speaking voice is much lower... I hope.

Ask Amy/mindflipper if it's any different.

Amy - I believe InsidetheMagic.net has photos of the books to where you can figure out the message without cheating. No, it's not the Grim Grinning Ghosts song, but good guess...

If anyone wants to know the book message, just pm me and I'll pm back.

mindflipper - The kids LOVE Disney. All they talked about on this trip was what they plan to do on the NEXT trip. They don't know it yet, but I got them an awesome book: http://www.guidetothemagic.com/shopping.htm#kids. It's 200 pages and is filled with fun facts/hidden mickeys/stickers for EVERY attraction on property. It also has autograph pages at the end so we don't have to buy those books! Also, I'm thinking about getting one of the 9" create-your-own VM for the characters to sign for the family when we go in August. That would be a cool souvenir.

That book looks like it will be fun for your boys. Thanks for the tip on finding the books in the HM queue, I'll have to check that out tonight.
Yes, your voice sounded much lower in person, that was obviously you playing with your children

A VM for the characters to sign? That sounds like the perfect souvenir for the NaCler family!!

May want to buy the right kind of pen that can sign at VM. If the character has a ball-point pen, you will need to switch it out for a permanent marker (or whatever) for the character to sign your VM.

Don't you have to provide your own pen for signing anyhow? Good point though...I would guess that particular VM comes with whatever writing utensil is necessary for signing...

Something like that is likely going to be too long to keep my interest. Probably because my husband has his own code languages that he makes me try to decipher. I like just knowing and then seeing the how the code works.

I agree about the Magic, Memories and you show... it was unbelievable. No pictures or you tube videos can even come close to how totally cool that show is! No matter that there are scattered pictures of other people, you really don't notice that at all, really the visual technology is just seriously a must see!
