From a video I've seen, the new AAs look a lot better than the old!! Haven't been on yet to see them myself but in due time.
We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

Probably looks better in person. Video is a bit too dark and I don't think the video does it much justice...

I really hope to be able to get to Disney World again sometime this summer. Definitely want to see this since HM is an amazing classic that seems to only get better as time goes on.

I agree, it doesn't look much different although it looks like the hitchhiking ghosts got a wardrobe update...

Yeah DW and I are hoping to save up enough money this summer to be able to make a late summer trip.
Is the plan to leave the floating ghosts in place...but project them onto the mirror? Just wondering.

If that was the case I don't understand what they'd have to do to the mirrors. Though from the way he like lays down at the end it seems fairly plausible that they are going to use those projections with the mirrors as it almost looks like he's laying down on the doombuggy's seat.

I have wondered maybe if they're trying to install a photo-taking system that will take photos of the guests with ghosts?

ITA. For so long, WDW's HM was a pale imitation of DL's. No longer!
Btw, the light switch in the kids' room is broken so that it randomly turns on sometimes. I was wondering out loud to Adi (who's 8) why it did that.
"Maybe goblins," I said.
"No, Mom, it's the ghost that does it."
"What ghost?" I asked.
"The one we brought home from Haunted Mansion, Mom."

That is one smart cookie you have there ~ she listened and learned something even while on vacation!
