I miss the bump too even though it looks really nice. I guess it was just different and I liked that about it. Plus, I love sitting therein the evenings after the park closes. I love getting in a spot where I can hear the Adventureland music, but admire the castle changing.
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

I agree. That will be nice. Great place to watch Wishes, too.

I've actually never watched Wishes from there! (Though I guess that would be true for anywhere in the park. ) I'm not sure how much a view you can get right there because of the trees? Some times I can't seem to find the "sweet spot" where you can still hear the Adventureland loop, but still see the castle. If I'm remembering correctly, even the best view is a partially obstructed one. Depends on my mood whether I choose that or just go further towards the center where I can at least still look back at Adventureland.

DW and I watched Wishes about halfway between the hub and the Adventureland bridge. Great view and slightly less crowded...plus we got to use the rail to lean on.

I like the new sign (from the pics) and I'm sure it's something that will feel "normal" once I have walked it a few times. Maybe that could be done while enjoying a Dole Whip...

So was NaCler - did you try to meet up? :mickey:
I believe yodiwan1 was not going to the parks until Saturday and I was there Friday night. So, unfortunately, no meet-up there.

BIG - I walked across the bridge Friday night and was amazed that I like the bridge better now than I did before. It does have a noticeable down-slope to it.

I didn't get a good shot of the base of the bridge as we were hurrying to get to the Jungle Cruise... and I still have no clue what was on my lens!

Love the signage. I'm liking this new bridge more and more every time I see another picture of it.

Does anyone have a picture of the sign over the old bridge? Is this the same sign or a new one? If new, I wonder what changes they made?

Actually, IMHO I like the new sign over the old sign.

I do too... It's got a little Indiana Jones/Jungle Cruise-ish theming to it with the skulls. Very nice change.

It's much more "adventurous," less classic theme park, I think.

I definitely like the looks of the new bridge and sign a lot. I too feel that the new sign actually fits the theme better than the old sign. Good to see that completed.
