Actually, the Captain is drowning in a bath tub, not brine.

True, he may be pickled, but his tomb is actually the Captain drowning in the bathtub - which is weird, because wouldn't the captain won't be memorialized for being a Sea Captain at the wheel of ship and not having drowned in the tub?

Oh, I wondered why his feet and leg were visible outside of his tomb. Having him memorialized at the helm wouldn't be as dramatic now would it?!

I assumed it was because the person who pickled him and arranged the tomb had the same sense of humor as the person writing the epitaphs.

Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

I have to admit when I first saw the earlier pictures of the Sea Captain tomb it made no sense to me; then when finding out the grave epitath I realized the departed captain was drowned in the tub atop the tomb (those four fish at each corner are the legs of the tub). It made more sense. I do wonder how those HM purists are taking these new additions? There are those HM fans who ranted about the addition of Constance in the attic - I wonder if the new tombs are giving them coronaries?

It took me awhile too. And yes, I bet they are having coronaries.

More happy haunts?

Well, there are 999 happy haunts there, but there's room for a thousand - so any new "happy haunts" will have to fill out an application and see if they get that last spot. I hear there's a charming ghostess on hand to take those applications - probably in the Ghost Relations Dept.

I think it looks pretty cool. I hope some of the other long wait attractions get interactive queues.

It really looks impressive! I liked the little girl that was playing the organ and then stopped and backed up and grabbed her Mom's hand when it squirted at her. That was cute.

Errrrrrr....is that suppose to be a post in the "EPCOT in 5,151 Pictures" topic...

Have you ever seen ETR: UNM?

Then you know any change or revision should be met with trepidations.
I have yet to see it, so I can't speak for the new tombs being either good or bad...
