Practical Joke Spots

Any of y'all have practical jokes you play on unsuspecting newbies you take to Disney World?

An example (we have many):

My kids (13 & 17 now) like to pull out the asprin when we go on Test Track. We tell the newbies the "crash" is worth it, and your head only hurts a little while. Then, when the "crash" comes up, we all cover our heads and brace ourselves. As amazing as it sounds...IT WORKS EVERY TIME!!! The newbie is scared, but then laughs, screams, punches us, etc.

This isn't WDW but DLR. Indiana Jones Adventure. Within the queue before the bat room, there's two large doors. We used to tell people that every 30 minutes an animatronic used to swing by on a rope.

I've used the Test Track one more recently, but before that we used to tell our "newbie" friends to watch their heads on Splash Mountain, 'cause if you don't duck, you could hit your head on the Briar Patch. I don't know how they believed us! Think of all the lawsuits Disney would be prone to!

Unsuspecting, and unaware adults can be convinced that RnR is a slow ride through Rock & Roll history, which features Aerosmith........

OR

"The Peoplemover lasts 20 minutes" (the actual ride is considerably less than that -- from stories I heard back then, CMs telling guests this caught then in various degrees of, eh, undress). It's great fun to mess with people on Grad Night. It's even greater fun to be home, asleep, during a grad night.

I have to add one I heard Kelly Rippa from "Regis and Kelly" say last week. (Although, my husband said he thought this one was really evil and possibly dangerous.)
Kelly said she was wanting to ride her favorite ride at MGM, Tower of Terror, and a friend in their group was very afraid of heigths. She convinced him that ToT was a simulator ride. As they were walking to the queu, he heard screams and asked about them. She said they were coming from RRC and got him on the ride.

When the ride doors opened up and he looked outside, he gripped the bar tightly and began to scream. He screamed the entire ride. Then as the doors opened at the end to let people out, he gripped the bar hard again and started screaming louder!

Ooooo. Kelly, that's bad!

My favorite is to ask the people in the same boat with you ( on any ride that has water flowing thru it ect.. potc and iasw and el rio tempo ) is to dare them to drink some of the frigid water... as i reach into the water and take a handfull of it and go ..ack ack ack that tastes like sanaflush

and let out a huge belch

I didn't actually play this as a joke on my husband (who has never -- nor will he -- gone on a roller coaster, free-fall drop, etc.). He is very afraid of heights.

I wanted him to "experience" the queue at Tower of Terror so I told him to join me in line, and I assured him there was a "chicken exit". He didn't believe me, but I reminded him that if I were trying to trick him into riding the attraction, that I was the one who would really suffer for the rest of the day (as having to put up with him!).

Anyway, as we got closer to the elevators and the CM asked how many in my party, I said, "One for the ride; one for the chicken exit". Well, in case you don't know, the chicken exit at ToT is actually a very nice elevator. Since my hubby knew ToT was an "elevator free-fall", he gave me a look of "HOW DARE YOU!!" and his face was all ashen and completely white. He thought for sure he was the one going into the elevator for the free-fall.

Aaahhhh... good times...
