I'm glad someone else thinks this. Maybe I'm not completely nuts!
I'm waiting for boilerbabe to get back so I can ask her since they dove this time and I know she has been on a dive there previously. I'm curious if she noticed a difference.
Completely nuts?? Diving in Australia?? Completely nuts?? Maybe you are??
Well, I'm sure I won't get many arguments about my nuttiness  but I still swear the Living Seas is shrinking...maybe it is due to global warming?! ;)

I don't think the Living Seas is "shrinking", just its pescine population...

Piscine population? Are you saying they've been together so long that they have grown into a whole set of sub-species??Image That sub-set is shrinking into smaller fish?ImageImageImageImage Did I get that correct?

I agree. Soarin' is easily the longest line in all of EPCOT and TT would be the runner-up though with a healthy margin between the two. M:S is generally a distant third. Especially Orange Team. They've scared the pants off enough guests that over the last 4 or so times I've been to EPCOT Mission Space Orange Team was a walk on. The one wait was like 15 minutes.

A caveat may be that Sum of All Thrills attraction in Innovations. That thing looks like it has the potential to post monumental wait times depensing on how popular it gets and how well it gets advertised. Being hidden inside Innoventions may help cut back but I think it only has capacity for 3 sets of doubles so even if there's 25 people in line it'd still be like a 30 minute wait potentially....

I agree with you on Sum of All Thrills being a contender. I believe there are 4 Kuka arms though so it has a capacity of 8, although I never saw all 4 arms running when we were there in December. It was always about a 30 minute wait when I was there...
I would guess Mission Space might scare some people off with the warnings...

I thought Sum of all Thrills used a reservation system where you had to come back at a predefined time (similar to a fastpass)

I also think Mission: Space is less of a "repeat" ride for most people than the others. Many people don't want to tempt their fate with getting sick. Once a trip is enough for me for Mission: Space, where as TT I'll ride many, many times and I'd love to go on Soarin' more, but the line is always so crazy.
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

Not when I was there. There was just a line...

A FP would be nice. That way you could go explore the rest of Innoventions while you were waiting :D

It might have only been a proposal I read, since the conept was that the guests would do something similar to Virtual Space Mountain with custom picked moves.

Both Sum of All Thrills and Virtual Space Mountain allow the guests to design a roller coaster track that they then have the opportunity to ride (only Virtual Space Mountain is a lot more thrilling, despite what the names might suggest  ). They don't have anything similar to a fastpass system at Virtual Space Mountain either. At both attractions you wait in line to get to a computer where you design your ride, then you get a card that has your ride saved on it. You wait in a second (usually pretty short) line for the simulators.

You make it sound like they need to add a PC or two to handle the line for creating the coaster...

I think it is set up pretty well. The thing that takes time is the short little movie preview about designing the ride and what to expect from your ride itself. I think there about 8 spots in there which correspond to the designing stations once you get out of the movie. So 16 guests at most can be in the movie, designing a ride and then only 8 can be riding their creation at a time. So, a capacity of about 40 in probably a 10-15 minute window. Not too bad really.

I wonder if they had thought about expanding Sum of All Thrills to increase its capacity?
