Which is why it would seem logical that the show isn't going to change. Heck, if walls do go up, I'd still not believe that they were changing the show back to the original until I saw it (the show) myself.
We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

Well the average guest is not going to know what really happened. The sign at the front just says "No shows at this time". If you didn't know differently, it might seem like it is a seasonal attraction.
Ah! Ok, I didn't realize there was a sign...makes much more sense.
Yes, it's just the show hours sign, since often the tiki birds aren't operating the whole time Magic Kingdom is open. So instead of saying something like "Hours of Operation: 10 am to 8 pm", it just says "No shows at this time" in each of the time slots. I didn't hear anyone talking about what happened or paying it much attention while I was there.
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

I've got to say that if they go back to the old show, I won't miss Iago or Zazu, but I'll miss the Tiki Goddess. She was a true AA wonder. I loved watching her fingers curl as she sang, "You're messin' with me, baby."

Don't worry, she'll be back - and Zazu and Iago too - because when it re-opens it will still be ETR: UNM. If they were going to change it, I'm sure they would only make it worse. Maybe take Iago and Zazu out and put Stitch in like they did over at TDL.

...because she can't go to WDW MK to watch it. If I ever get back out to DLR, I might have to drop in and watch it.

You beat me to the answer ;)

It's ok about not going while in MK at WDW...I'm used to not seeing the tiki birds there anyhow.

It's probably best to skip - I'm don't know if they have health warnings out yet, but show is so incredibly bad that watching it may cause temporary blindness and near-comtose stunned after-effects...

FWIW...I have been to WDW 6 times since they changed the show...and at least twice per trip to the MK...which makes at least 12 times I have gone to the MK since the change...

I have yet to see ETR:UNM.

I did go to DLR a few years ago for the first time...but did not go see the original ETR. That makes me sad...but also gives me another excuse to get back out to CA one of these days.

I had skipped ETR: UNM as well until back on Dec 4th when Mouskecouple, Amy et al decided we should try it. I can't begin to tell you how traumatizing it was to watch that show.... ...there aren't words to describe how awful it is... :(

mindflipper... come on now... there are good parts to that show. The goddess is an amazing AA and the walls/poles singing in the still of the night or whatever it is, is pretty cute. It's not totally worthless.

I have never been to DL so I don't know what the original show is like but I don't hate UNM. Even my kids like it. We never skip it. Maybe someday we will get to DL and then we will know better. :?
