I think that is great - best wishes!
BTW - my mom was born on DL's birthday - how cool is that?! 8)

From the LATimes a quote from Julie Andrews yesterday 050505
"No matter how old you are or what language you speak," Andrews said, "Disneyland is and always will be a place where imagination comes alive, the impossible seems real, the feelings indescribable."
Amen Julie!

Closer to WDW, but hoping for DL next year. I wanted to go when I was a CM, but that never happened.

Yeah, I was there when she said that, but unfortunately couldn't see her- all the media were in the way. Yay Julie Andrews.

The poll only gets part of my celebration -- we're going to be in Disneyland on the 17th (assuming i don't have to be in line at 3am), and are trying to make it to all of the other parks this year. Apparently the real trick is going to be getting into Hong Kong on opening day, they aren't quite sure how they are gong to sell ticket yet as far as I can tell.

Love Tomorrowland and Adventureland, but hard to decide to which one is best.

I'm going in 2 weeks, and probably 3 or 4 more times during the summer once SM opens up
Playing tag should be permitted on Tom Sawyer's Island so the guards would stop yelling at me.

I'll be at Disneyland on August 11 thru 13. I can't wait to check see the park in all of it's 50th glory, especially Space Mountain. It has always been a ritual for me to head to Tomorrowland when arriving at the park. Can't wait to reestablish that ritual!!!

I'm going to break in to Walt's appartment, light up a '55 vintage Cuban cigar, pour a glass of '55 Port and toast the man and the mouse that made it all happen.
Okay...so that's a fantasy. Walt would appreciate it, though.

I must say, it's nice to see the park in all its fancy for the 50th. I like the way the castle looked before they remodeled it, but aside from that, all of the hidden/50th mickey heads are nice to notice.

Where did you work? I worked the final days of the Electrical parade, that was hell. I could see the 17th being crazy.
