Omg, That was a total scream! LMAO. What a great article. I'm not sure I trust those molds to be fit for food preparation, but the idea itself is totally hilarious.

(and did anyone notice the Vinylmation ice cube trays halfway down? I think we have a future present for Mr. NaCler right there.

Can't remember: were the VM ice cube trays something that was sold by Disney, or was it hand-made?

Released on December 3rd in DL and WDW by Disney...the rice krispie article just didn't have a very clear photo of the ice cube tray, or VM for that matter...but I found onemindflipper wrote:Can't remember: were the VM ice cube trays something that was sold by Disney, or was it hand-made?

AMY!!! I'm so proud... Thanks for finding the pic.
momeja - I thought about getting one, but I didn't. They are pretty cool, though. I can imagine it would make a good jello mold for the kids or a good treat for the adults.

Cool article! But I would have a hard time not eating all the krispie treats!
The ice cube tray is pretty cool though...I like NaCler's idea of a jello mold for kids...and adults too

If I were to get one, I might also try peanut butter filled (or anything else I get creative with) chocolate Mickeys...hmmm, I may have to investigate this...

I think the only way that any kind of mold works for the marshmallow cereal things is if you really press it into each half. Which probably explains why you only see shapes that are cut out of giant blocks with cookie cutters rather than molded.

Mmmm! I like the idea of chocolate surrounding "something"!MmeLeota wrote:Cool article! But I would have a hard time not eating all the krispie treats!

Good point! The person making the rice krispies probably didn't smush the material in enough to make good definition on the VM mickey. I agree with MmeLeota though, I would be more than happy to eat all the "mistakes"Wizzard419 wrote:I think the only way that any kind of mold works for the marshmallow cereal things is if you really press it into each half. I know that they're VM shaped, but in reality they're Mickey Mouse shaped. Be great for parties.

Could it possibly be the one thing that would make him take a sip of the kool-aid????Amy wrote:What? Something VM-related that mindflipper likes?!?!mindflipper wrote:I know that they're VM shaped, but in reality they're Mickey Mouse shaped. Be great for parties.

Re: Vinylmation
To me, it just looks shaped like Mickey Mouse (even though it's VM). If you were having a Disney party, that tray would come in good to make some Mickey Mouse shaped items for that kind of party (hints for whoever would like to cater the next Mayhem Marauders get-together at WDW...)Amy wrote:What? Nah, I doubt it. They have regular Mickey Mouse shaped ice cube trays that he would buy first I would think....MmeLeota wrote:Could it possibly be the one thing that would make him take a sip of the kool-aid????Amy wrote:What? I would probably buy the ones shaped like Jack Skellington's skull, if such was made...Amy wrote:Nah, I doubt it. They have regular Mickey Mouse shaped ice cube trays that he would buy first I would think....
