I sure hope WDW gets something somewhat close to DL. The building for the attraction looks awesome! It's looking even nicer now that there is some paint going onLen90 wrote:...Has anybody seen the looks of the mermaid attraction building in DCA? if the exterior theming for the one in WDW is on the same level we will be in for a treat!
You are correct about that. I am just hoping the attention to detail on the building is as good as it is for DCAs.mindflipper wrote:I thought from the concept art that WDW's Mermaid ride was to have an exterior based on Prince Eric's castle.![]()

Where will we see those?! Do you have links?MadEye wrote:The permits for the rock work "packages" for inside and outside the TLM building have been filed so we should see soon (I hope).
For the permits? Or the rock work?Amy wrote:Where will we see those?! Do you have links?MadEye wrote:The permits for the rock work "packages" for inside and outside the TLM building have been filed so we should see soon (I hope).
Permits I believe are visible to the public through the OC Registrar. The rock work will hopefully be visible from over the walls when it commences.mindflipper wrote:For the permits? Is there any way you can peek inside the buildings or is everything strictly off limits if you aren't part of the construction crew?packwingfn wrote:I enjoy taking the CM Bus every day to get to work to see what additions have been added to the FLE. Though it will be boring once they finish all the exterior work and are busy working inside haha
Yes it is! CM's have been warned that being in the construction area can get you fired!Amy wrote:Is there any way you can peek inside the buildings or is everything strictly off limits if you aren't part of the construction crew?packwingfn wrote:I enjoy taking the CM Bus every day to get to work to see what additions have been added to the FLE. tom hanks and tim allen to star in a "night at the museum" treatment of the ride. here's the link: http://www.wdwinfo.com/news/Television_ ... e_film.htm makes you wonder if there really are no creative minds left writing in hollywood. i sure hope they come up w/ something more original than this before actual production time.jlpeaches255 wrote:MadEye wrote:Oh, it's on their top 5 to do list. It doesn't seem the JC is one of their top priorities.
Are there still movie rumors out there? Maybe they are waiting.
