i use the old key west and beach club ones all the tiziime. although i find it somewhat annoying to lug them around all the time wish they had like a card where u could just pay a membership fee the cost of the mug or maybe a little bit more and hten just get cheap drinks in regular cups with your card.

A nice idea, but that would sort of defeat the main purpose of the mugs, which I'm guessing is to keep Disney's cost for cups at a minimum ;)

I went to make something in the kitchen the other night, reached into the cabinet for the sugar, and literally found about 15 resort mugs. They range from our trip in November 2010, all the way back to our first trip in 1998! We have been many times since '98, so there are quite a few mugs!

You could probably make a mint on ebay now that everyone wants the resort specific mugs :D

You know, I very well could! ha. Not sure if Subsonic would like me selling stuff on here, even if it is Disney resort mugs.

Are the mugs still the red ones this year?

The resort mugs in December were Mickey Mouse's face at the bottom of the mug with "Celebrate Today" printed in tiny print around the top portion. The handle and lid were coordinated and you could choose red, yellow or black. If no one beats me to it I'll try to put up a pic tomorrow. I wonder if they have changed them over yet to something new this year?

I'm sure they would want to sell out the old stock first...

I'm betting Disney pays less then a tenth of a cent per serving of soda. I think it will be OK :D

Going in September, hopefully they don't change. I have seen people using really old ones. The "fat" type mug one's. Now that's kinda pushing it. LOL
