I use an app on my droid x called gentle alarm. It has 100 options including using any sound file.

I asked a few people on YouTube if I could have a copy of the recording and they happily gave it to me. I was surprised how many of the few I asked said yes.

I don't know how to make an audio file into a ring tone yet so I am getting ahead of myself anyhow

I have the awesome Dream horn songs that MadEye so nicely converted...now to just get them on my silly phone

I have an app called ringdroid where you can convert any audio file into a ringtone and also edit it. I don't know if you can do that on an iPhone, which if I remember correctly you have.

You have an awesome memory, I am envious! ~ you are right, there is probably an app for that! But I am cheap so it will have to be a free app

I remember you being excited about the subsonic iPhone app

I am cheap with apps too, ringdroid was free. Another one that comes to mind is "mabilo ringtones," that is also free and might be available for droid and iPhone as well.
