It seems like I thought the Dinosaur seats were comfy too, but I'm having a harder time remembering details about them at the moment.
There is probably a league of people that disagree with both if you head over to the LEAST comfortable ride seats topic thread.
Oh yeah I saw that. ;) And for Dinosaur I wasn't talking about during the ride, just the seat in itself.
Make sure you ride Dinosaur this time so you can see if you really think those seats are comfy
I would suggest you try to evaluate the seat before you go searching for the Iguanodon since your opinion might be changed after the search!

I think most people are judging the seats as being comfortable or uncomfortable depending upon how it makes them feel during the ride.

I forgot about Everest - the trains and seats there are very well designed. Easy to get on and off and comfortable for a wide range of sizes.

Yes, that's why I specified. I expect to be zooming and bouncing around - that's why I'm on a thrill ride. I'm looking at this from the perspective of if my wide hips have room to fit comfortably.

I will! I think they're nice because I'm not squished, there's a comfortable handle to hold onto, and they've got some padding. If I'm remembering them correctly.
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

Those were easy seats to enter and exit ~ even when clutching a backpack, digital recorder, and a camera!

Big Thunder Mountain Rail Road. After a few rides the last 3 weeks, aside from the vehicle shaking a little, those seats are nice and comfy!
We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

They are pretty good, except for that last huge jerk as you pull back into the station  but I suppose that is more the attraction itself instead of the train's seats

That's just the breaks showing you that they work. :)
