Dec 2010: Mayhem Invades Disney World!!!

Most people who "boast" as you put it, have no clue what they are talking about. Like I said, only time there would be an inkling of a chance of being in a park that late (or early depending on your point of view) would have to be a holiday or one of the parties at MK (MVMCP and MNSSHP) when the parks are open till the a.m. Most of the CMs would be in bed by 3 a.m. and security would probably make it a point that they have to leave the park.

They do have several photos that include on-property clocks with times in the 2 am's or 3 am's. Maybe he is really good at photoshopping too?!

Since there was so much to read through and I cannot remember all the comments I made to myself...I must say, as usual FABULOUS pictures Amy and Mousekedude!!! (Though I must mention the pics of Devine, Amy. You got a few really great ones!)
It looks as though the Mousekecouple and the Boilers had a blast together, and I am so totally jealous that you happened upon the Winter Meetings at the Dolphin M-dude! I knew that was going on while you guys were there and wondered if anyone would head over there.

Thanks MmeLeota I'm a little jealous of all the fun the Mousekecouple and the double boilers had too! I wish we could have spent a little more time out with them...there is always next time

I could edit the time in a photo in less than a minute... If I had photoshop that is.

After the parks close, 3rd shift is out pressure cleaning the walkways, touching up the landscaping and whatever else 3rd shift does and 3rd shift managers are all over the place with their golf carts zipping (for lack of a better word) all over the parks. How they could not be noticed by 3 a.m. would be a miracle. Usually, 3rd shift is only allowed into the parks when the last guest is confirmed to have left the park. So their story is somewhat questionable...

It is possible, but only during the holiday or peak seasons. I know from experience the Extra Magic Hours at MK could easily be until 1 or 2 in the morning. Last guests usually will try to hang out in the park until about 30-45 minutes after closing. Usually the Emporium will stay open until after park closing as well (don't know how true that is). Madeye is right about the third shift. They are the overnight magic makers. They have an extremely limited amount of time and have a lit of work to accomplish.

Amy that is saddening to hear your computer is being gutted and rebuilt. How old is it? Did you try fighting for a replacement under warranty/no lemon?

Photoshop Elements usually sells for less than $100 and Best-Buy puts on sales about the every third week. It's what I use and it does what I need.

I know we were "encouraged" to finish up our shopping in one of the HS stores one evening. As soon as the park closed, they shut the doors and did not let anyone else in. This also happened at the Imagination pavilion store
Len, my laptop is only 4 months old, and it has been having problems for at least the past month, that is why I am irritated. It had better look brand spanking new with no scratches or dents from tool marks from them gutting it or you better believe I will be kicking up a fuss right there in the store when I pick it up...in 3-5 business days
I am also going to be writing a letter to Apple to express my displeasure at my first MacBook experience thus far!

Y'know he meant Downtown Disney, not Downtown Orlando. Although many people don't realize that there's a separate place called Orlando; they think Walt Disney World is Orlando because it's the only place they've been when they go to Orlando.
