Christmas at the parks

I am going to DL the 20-21 of Dec. Since people are in school and it is still a lil bit before Christmas is, do you guys think it will be more of a semi-crowded thing rather than a very crowded thing.
any tips if they are going to such>

That sounds pretty close to Christmas to me... last year I was there 12/10-12/14, almost no crowds... expecting the same this year, 12/10-12/17

Well,hopefully it works. I am hoping it is good because it is a tuesday and wedesday. Those were the only days that worked for us.

I think you will be fine on the 20th and 21st. Most schools let out for the holiday break on December 23rd. Have a great time.

Jello, if it's any help, I'm a TA and have almost nothing booked for those days. The 23rd starts ramping back up for me. Christmas and New Years are timed perfectly for a week long holiday this year.

So nothing booked, eh? This is making me feel better about it. Good deal. I told the in-laws we should be fine going on these days so I am kind of nervous, then not, if you know what I mean. Any more votes of confidence?

I was there around that time last year. I say you're good to go. In fact, I hope I'll be there as well. I have a tentative trip planned, and we're waiting for one person's confirmation! I hate waiting!

That is awesome. This is all boosting the esteem. When you guys go, how long do you usually stay at the park? I am hoping we can be there from 8a-12am. any other tips or secrets for the holidays?

Sounds good to me. I usually like to get there before it opens and stay as late as i can.

A tip would be to plan to see Remember...Dreams Come True more than once, in case it gets cancelled. But the chances of that happening aren't likely. Other than that, get enough eat and sleep and have fun!

Anyone know if APs can get early entry somehow? My fam has e.e. but since we have APs I dont thinkw e can.

Jello, I'm just one tiny agent in the big pool of Disney travel, but generally I see the trends.

AP's can get early entry only if you are staying onsite - that is the condition for early entry. Where are you staying?

Yeah, that's definately a no.

Here's a tip though - Disney will not usher any day Guests out of the park on EMH evenings in the shops or restaurants - you can shop and dine to your heart's content, just will not be able to ride the rides. You also will not be able to enter the park past park closing, and must either be at that park during the day or have the Park Hopper feature on your tickets in order to access the park if you're someplace else that day. You can still soak up the atmosphere of the EMH, just won't be able to ride the rides.

Sounds great. Thanks for the tip. However, that will give my wife an excuse to shop more.
