Club Cool

Post by rdeacon » Nov Fri 18, 2005 4:20 pm

Here are new pics of club cool.

Looks cool, and much larger with more merchandise. They kept the cool selection of flavors!

The build a cup thing is sweet.

Not sure if its better...I guess apart of me misses walking thru that icy cold walkway.

There was nothing better on a hot day! :)

That is slick, I like it a lot better than the old one! Sort of feels like the World of Coke in Atlanta from the photos. Will be interesting to see how it compares in real life - the million dollar question - do you still stick to the floor?

Sadly, no caveman in ice, though....at least from what I can tell.

Just saw it Wednesday before Turkey day! There isn't really much going on here, not like when you had to walk through the freezer and pass the frozen iceman. It's just a big room with all the different drinks and more merchandise.

I was kind of disappointed.

Without the ice tunnel, it's no longer "Cool" at all... whether you mean that word literally or slang.

My kids will be pleased to hear that the flavor selection is still there

Oooh, we liked the theming, or at least, the kids did. They commented on it being neat to feel like you weren't at 'Disney' for a moment.

Yes, we stuck to the floor. I think that as long as Guests spill drinks, there will always be stickiness. :)

Actually, they didn't keep ALL the flavors. They dumped two of them, and have repeats in their stead. It's definitely not as interesting thematically, and it's a bit of an overload when you walk into a room with blaring pop music, but it's pretty nifty overall.

And yeah, you still stick to the floor. :D But, to be fair, they're much better at keeping at it with a mop, so you don't stick as bad.

Also, they've got some really neat merchandise this time around, including a build-your-own Coke tumbler with Disney parts (feet, hats, etc...) to make Goofy, Minnie, Micket, etc... I think you can make your own Coke bottles, too.

Ooops. See the "Build a cup" picture. I didn't go far enough down. :)
