Thanks! I actually enjoyed my time at the Magic Carpets of Aladdin & The Tiki Room UNM. I couldn't stand watching the show but I always had fun with my introduction & getting to wake up Jose! I even got some little kids to help me wake up Jose. Some really awesome magical moments. I always had fun at Magic Carpets too with the little kids and how excited they were then always suprised to see Carpets with a 40 min wait on Christmas week.

I am still there now as a part time cast member, and now I can put into cross-train in other Ad/Lib Attractions like Jungle Cruise, Pirates & Haunted Mansion

mindflipper...I think you would actually have to work if you were working at the HM, not just ride all day

You would probably be the first CM they had to duck-tape to his station

Now, back on topic, any word on the Tiki Room, is it fully functional and not smokey smelling?!

I just heard rumors about this being down until at least May and that they are toying around with bringing the old show back for the 40th Anniversary. Apparently the Iago animatronic was ruined and they would have to pay to make a new one. It makes sense that they could revert to the old show for minimal $$.

Madeye - Can you snoop and get any scoop on this one???
