yeah sorry about that guys...server is hosted in a colocation datacenter, and ever since hurrican wilma they have been upgrading the power and ups systems...the last reboot caused a hardware failure and i need to have the server opened up and fixed...should be all better now...

It is not necessary to mention that it sounds like it's time for new hardware. While you're at it, switch to *NIX and rebooting becomes a non-issue.

Th emachines are old I work for a local government and spending money on new equipment is a hard thing to get. We are running unix Systems (at lest the ones we had a problem with) we had this problem months ago and now we have new equipment took over 2 years to get. had a total of 15 machines that took up a whole room to now we have 2 racks and have a lot more room
So am I, I was worried there we wouldn't have 128k streams any more
