I try to remind everybody that I know at work and home about the Spaceship Earth Cartoon E-mail before they go, I wished I had done with everyone while I was there on Dec. 4th...

I have the one with NaCler and his Mom. (At least I think I still do) If he says it is ok, I can try to figure out how to post it. It was funny because they chose a lot of the same things we did

I think it would work better in youtube. There's a way you can upload and lock it off so only those who have the link can view. I think NaCler did that with some videos he posted.

Looked like another awesome day, Amy!!! I don't think I know the whole deal with Mom, but I hate it that she is in pain.
But it sounds so far like the two of you made the most of it.

..and I love how all of you are still so excited about the meet-up that it sounds like you are ready to do it again...that's always a good sign!

Well it worked out that the Mousekecouple, the double-boilers, and Amy were taking trips around the same time. The rest of us worked it into our schedules.

That is very true. I hope it works out again though ~ we would both love to have a little more time to visit with y'all as well as ride more attractions
We are hoping to meet up with the doubleboilers for lunch sometime after the spring thaw. They live only a few hours away

Thanks WWDRH ~ It doesn't have any protein spills or anything to make it exciting like your report, but I tried to include lots of photos. I love looking at people's photos when I am reading their trip reports but you do have a way with words and that makes reading your report pretty fun! And I am keeping track of the Dole Whip vs. snack count too
As for why Mom was in a scooter, on medications, etc... My Mom (F1gment) had strained her back loading pottery into a kiln about a week before we went, and then had a run-in with a large stroller at MK on the day of the meet-up which messed up her knee Luckily we had already planned on her having a scooter to get around since that much walking just wasn't possible with her other health problems. She's young at heart, but not necessarily in years anymore...shhhh! I hope she doesn't read this Well, actually, as mindflipper has so kindly pointed out, I am no longer a youngen either so I guess that is ok We still manage to get around.
I've been surprised really, as I am typing out the trip report that we managed to get more things in than I was thinking we had. I am so used to a break-neck touring speed, hitting multiple parks during the days, that I was thinking we were very slow this time around, but I guess we did ok.

From the sounds of things, the mousekecouple is actually pretty busy, and boilerbabe is still suffering from severe withdrawal ~ she did have to come down off the high of two trips you know, not just one like the rest of us boilerdude is generally scarce...but we are hoping he will start up that useless trivia thread soon!

Boilerbabe was on the other day, so she is starting to slowly get back into the swing of things. I know M-dude has been busy and I think they've limited his net at work a bit so he can only do from home now I believe. B-dude works on a computer or with computers all day, so he gets a bit burned out on them when he gets home at night.

I just find it simpler to deal with a few flashing red new topic alerts than all of them at once
