Re: Fantasyland Expansion...
Disney says that the Seven Dwarfs Roller Coaster is a go! I've never been to the Magic Kingdom but I'm still REALLY excited for this Fantasyland expansion!

More updated concept art including a re-theme for Barnstormer and a straight ahead view of Beasts castle on top of Be Our Guest Restaurant and what is said to replace Snow White's Scary Adventure:

Well, the Seven Dwarf's roller coaster looks cute ~ sort of like Goofy's Barnstormer.
I hope they don't do in Snow White's Scary Adventures for a Princess Meet and Greet

If there is concept art for it, then they are seriously thinking about it. Some will say it is one of the things they will announce tonight.Amy wrote:Well, the Seven Dwarf's roller coaster looks cute ~ sort of like Goofy's Barnstormer.

Yet it would make sense as they have the Princess make-over boutique in the castle nearby.

Re: Fantasyland Expansion...
Judging from this piece of concept art, the Mine Train Coaster looks to be quite a bit bigger than the Barnstormer. Of course, it might just be an optical illusion, since it looks to me like the entire FLE area in that picture occupies a larger space than it does in reality.

I hope the seven dwarfs ride is more like Big Thunder Mountain and less like the barnstormer.

Re: Fantasyland Expansion...
If there is a mine train ride, it will probably be more like the barnstormer than BTMRR - this is Fantasyland, I don't think they would want to build a ride that excludes young children under a certain height. Plus given the space, I don't think they have the room for a fairly aggressive roller-coaster.
And thanks, MadEye, for posting the lastest concept art on the topic thread! It will be interesting to see what will finally be announced officially.

Ok, so that headline says, "Snow White Confirmed Closed". So is are they really getting rid of this classic dark ride? If so, it feels like I just lost a family member...on the upside, this news is also very exciting. Can't wait to see these new projects take shape.Future Guy wrote:Judging from this piece of concept art, the Mine Train Coaster looks to be quite a bit bigger than the Barnstormer. Yep, Snow White is gone. Of course, the Mine Train coaster will be kind of like SWSE, so we'll still have a Snow White ride.Lion Sleeps Tonight wrote: Ok, so that headline says, "Snow White Confirmed Closed". Hmmm mixed feelings here. I did not love Snow White but it was a classic. The concept art for the Seven Dwarfs coaster looks amazing.
