Re: Night or Day??
this advice is the key, but if you can't make this afternoon nap happen, swap duties one time to see it. i can't imagine feeling satisfied leaving wdw w/out viewing this at least once during your stay. i was forced to split one year when we did mickey's not so scary halloweeen. i was designated videographer, and we wanted some documentation of the fireworks show, but the kid fell asleep and was taken back to the room. this particular display somewhat lost it's lustre w/out someone personal to share it w/, but it was still enjoyable. one way or another try to see "wishes", but really work on structuring the nap it's best to have the whole family together for this one.mindflipper wrote:Ever thought about letting the kids take a nap in the afternoon and then going back for the fireworks?

Nothing like being in a park during the dusk and night time hours! You get this type of excited energy.

I'll take it anytime, but night is better.

it depends on the park and the time of year , etc. in the winter when its cold night can sometimes be annoying , but usually night is my favorite too .

I don't care if it's night or day, if I'm in a Disney theme-park and not at work - what difference does it make?

It is a very pretty park at night. The EMH evening when we were there, we caught the last safari. I think we only saw 1 or 2 animals because they were all waiting by the doors that would lead them to their backstage areas for nighttime. That was sort of disappointing.masterj345 wrote:although i wish they would keep animal kingdom open late into the night. i realize why they cant but walking around the maharaja jungle trek at night would be awesome

People around this part of the country sure seem to love it. I seem to be the only one that believes the vehicle windows should be rolled up and the A/C on full blast during the summerjacobcary1 wrote:No one likes the heat.

Good idea, tomorrow I will pretend I am in the fancy WDW monorail with A/C while everyone else is in the older DL monorail with their open windowsjacobcary1 wrote:Make the cold monorail nice.
