Cool! The expansion is larger than what I was imagining. Don't they restrict the airspace above Disney for the most part? I remember seeing one helicopter overhead while we were there this past trip but nothing else. Otherwise I would think there were be all sorts of "above Disney" tours

UPDATE: Permits have been filed for Tomorrowland Speedway realignment, barricades (walls) for MTTF and the Dumbo Area.

Still no word on the supposed Snow White dwarfs mine train or anything else they have changed.

I'm sure I will kick myself when you answer, but...MTTF stands for???!

MTTF stands for Mickey's Toon Town Fair I think.

To me, this supports our previous conjecture that the new changes that were ambiguously announced have not in fact yet been finalized.

Exactly I think a lot is still just pure speculation and we will most likely have an idea of what is being done once they start digging the foundations for the buildings.

here's a more in depth (w/ pictures and some interactive operation tips) article on the new pooh qeue that has already been talked about extensively here, but it may be of interest... http://www.disunplugged.com/2011/01/11/ ... c-kingdom/

That report has a lot of nice pictures. It would explain why I couldn't get a picture of any gophers the one time I was taking photos too. There was no one in the play area after dark! I hope they keep the play side fixtures clean and fresh. It would be a shame to have lots of wear showing on the interactive features.

glad this was helpful amy, perhaps it's my imagination, but the wdw forums seem to be going thru a dry spell lately. i was reluctant to even post that "fresh" bit of news for fear of too much repetition. yet, either disney is keeping a tighter lid than usual, or there really is nothing new or interesting going on?

Well, since everything seems to leak out with regularity, I would guess maybe there just isn't a lot of anything happening, other than the clearing and few buildings that are going up. I think we will see more happening in just a few months :D

...or they're still internally debating what changes are to be made to the Fantasyland Expansion. Everyone is still waiting for them to announce what exactly will be the "new direction" for the expansion.

Another small update: The framework for Prince Eric's castle on the outside of TLM is up and looks kinda small. Then again, it is just framework.

I had thought it was more for show than it to be the actual sized building based on some of the earlier blueprints.

Of course it is just for show but unlike Beast's castle on top of Be Our Guest restaurant which will be a lot smaller, guests will be closer to the facade of the castle for TLM. I hope it looks a lot bigger than the framework shows.
