I actually have the Mattercam up right now and I'm hoping to remember to check it for the fireworks...I like looking at it every now and then...it was windy there today

It does look windy out there. Do you know about what time the fireworks go off? Is it around 9 or 9:30? I'm guessing I will have to wait for a weekend, the three hour time difference would make me a fairly crabby person the next day...hmmmm, Disneyland fireworks, or a pleasant person the next day...decisions, decisions!

The holiday fireworks went off at around 8:45ish or so from when my mother went to see them last week. I think 9:25 is the basic time for the fireworks.

Boy, I was looking at the photos of the DCA entrance/exit/Sunshine Plaza today ~ that looks like a real mess! I hope they have a few more turnstiles open by summer or that is going to be one heck of a bottleneck! :(

Can you provide a link or web address to the Mattercam?

I just saw this post on Micechat http://micechat.com/forums/blogs/in-the ... parks.html and saw that they are working on removing the letters in front of DCA. The entrance has six turnstiles on the far left side and the exit is on the far right.

Image
In this case, the left side of the photo is the exit. The right side is the entrance.

Adios, letters!

I wonder what they are going to do with the letters? I would think they would be highly prized for a collector!

Just looking through the latest MiceChat and it looks like the entrance and plaza are going to look very similar to Hollywood Studios at WDW! Maybe that is why it will be named Buena Vista Street?!

They might try and sell them, didn't John Stamos buy the old Disneyland sign letters? I don't think they are part of the new entry, but they may try and reuse them somewhere.

Yup, they are making the entrance like Hollywood Studios's. I don't know why but I think they feel it has an appearance for something in the past to fit the theme.

I still believe that when it is all said and done that this park will be renamed something like "Disneyland's Hollywood Studios" and DCA will be a thing of the past.

Trust me, I'm sure they already have that wicked idea. :(
