I was one of the first, but then again, I was there for only 1 Day, so it makes for a short trip report:

Oh, okay. I suppose you are right that you were only there for one day...I would guess you might have more photos to share though?!mindflipper wrote:I was one of the first, but then again, I was there for only 1 Day, so it makes for a short trip report:

Great reports and pictures, everybody! Makes me wish even more that we could have been there.

Words cannot describe the photography talent you guys posess! Mousekedude, I loved those NCIS photos (even if I am not a fan...) and the pic of the double-boilers at the Osborne lights is perfect! I too am jealous of those fab pics in POTC...I cannot seem to get any real good ones and the one of Ariel is superb!
Amy, having never seen the Finding Nemo show, I love those pics! It seems like a highly photogenic show (like Aladdin at DCA). We originally rode "Countdown to Extinction" at AK, but have not ridden "Dinosaur" since we did not like Countdown at all...way too rough! Even worse than Indy!!! Beautiful safari pics! I love that one with the mist and the foilage! The lighting was just right...it's amazing how those pictures work out sometimes! (intentional or not)
Keep up the great work everyone!!! These reports are amazing!!!

You're right, Mindflipper. You were busy spending quality time with everyone and just being a generally great guy to hang out with. Sorry that I sorta forgot about all that in my zeal to have you post more. You did do an awesome job of starting this thread, so kudos for that. I think I was just under the impression that you may have taken more pictures than what you've posted so far, but if you didn't really get any good ones beyond what you've already shared with us, then I understand. No sweat, bro.mindflipper wrote:I was too busy yakking with mousekecouple and the rest of you to use the camera. Fellowship before Photography.Amy wrote:Oh, okay. Re: Dec 2010: Mayhem Invades Disney World!!!
We wish we could have spent more time with you too, bro. But we understood that you were there for only a very limited time, and that your mom was the main focus of your trip, so we didn't want to be greedy and monopolize all your time. Your first priority was to be a good son and spend time with her. We respect that. The only thing that really bugs me is that I'm majorly jealous of you that you got to do the Beverly thing with Amy and F1gment at Club Cool without us. I could kick myself that our schedule didn't allow us to join you there...NaCler wrote:Awesome reports and pictures M-Dude and Amy! We wish you could have been there, too. You guys would obviously have been a great addition to our mayhem.Future Guy wrote:Great reports and pictures, everybody! Makes me wish even more that we could have been there.

Nice to know you're fans of NCIS. When I think about it, somehow I guess I would have pegged that....

That's exactly how I feel about any pics I take...Disney related or otherwise.Mousekedude wrote:Thank you very much (bowing humbly and blushing like a school girl...MmeLeota wrote:Words cannot describe the photography talent you guys posess! It's not about getting glory for myself... it's all about capturing beautiful moments and being able to share them others. The better the pictures, the more other people can enjoy them and appreciate the magic. So I'm thrilled that my pictures are good enough to bring the magic back to you....

Thank you for the kind words about my photos MmeLeota! Nemo is an awesome show if you ever get the chance to get to WDW soon.MmeLeota wrote:Words cannot describe the photography talent you guys posess! It's funny you mention Countdown to Extinction vs. Indy. Mom had been on CtE in AK before we traveled to DL, so when we got there I told her Indy was the same sort of ride. For some reason, that particular time through Indy was super rough

I think the ride on Dinosaur and Indy can vary greatly with where you are seated in the vehicle. Plus, I believe there are different sequences, correct?

Much appreciated, M-dude, but as a consolation I have just started an all-new and totally different trip report here on Subsonic on behalf of some friends:Mousekedude wrote:You're right, Mindflipper. Re: Dec 2010: Mayhem Invades Disney World!!!
I have not heard anything about there being different sequences. The only variables thy I can think of for Dinosaur or Indu is your seat in the vehicle and the vehicle itself. Each vehicle should be programmer the same way, but they can differ in how they perform. The seating does play a major role for these and most other attractions. Generally speaking the back row will tend to have the roughest experience. I am almost certain the back corner seats are the worst two.Amy wrote: It's funny you mention Countdown to Extinction vs. Indy. She did not forgive me for awhile. She was way more mad about Mulholland Madness though
but to be fair, I had never been on that when she asked so we experienced it for the first time together. Bad, bad, bad idea!!
