I think it would be easier for a female to take pictures of other people's children than males, Amy. If a guy was doing it alot, I'm sure some Disney Security Team would whisk him away to find out if he's a pedophile.
Nice thing about the 200mm zoom lens: people couldn't tell what I was taking pictures of....

That one made me crack up  Sorry, couldn't resist. I either saw that same child or more parents are letting their children go "commando" at Disney
Nothing says "magic" like seeing a little moon at a Disney park!

I know I had a lady come up and ask me what kind of camera I had since I was standing quite a ways back at AK taking photos of the parade while Mom was using the facilities. She saw how close I was getting the characters on my screen and was quite impressed with it's zoom feature. It made me happy :D especially since I had decided against getting the new camera for this trip...I don't think it compares to your 200mm lens though M-dude!

Yeah, we kept that 200mm on most of the time during the day. It is variable, actually, from 55mm-200mm. We found that it was the best lens for most of the shots we wanted to get. When we thought we might want more up-close shots, or night shots, we'd put on either the 18mm-55mm or the 35mm prime lens. I wanted to get a 300mm zoom lens too, but it was just too expensive. That puppy will let you count the buttons on Cinderella's dress from the top of the Contemporary.... but as it turned out, 200mm zoom was enough. That's how I got all those good candid shots of characters without their knowing....

Nice pics, B-babe! Why not post them a little bigger, though? They'd look even better if they were bigger. :D

Maybe she's afraid of bringing down the wrath of the subsonic gods for consuming too much server space with big photos... :?: :?

Understandable, but the Gods have already stated that up to 800x600 screen resolution is acceptable, so that's exactly the size I make all mine. As big as possible is my motto, that way everyone can really enjoy all the detail... :D

The laptop program I have does 3 sizes: original, 640X480, and 320X240. I usually do the 640X480 myself.

Here's one of my faves. It's actually about dusk, but technically still daytime. I posted this one in my trip report, but it's a good one for here as well:

There's a secluded little seating area right down by the water behind Flame Tree BBQ that we like to go to. It's never crowded... in fact, most times we go there we have the whole area to ourselves.
