You know, this was the one year where I really only got to watch the very beginning. We had it on of course, but we actually left the house for a while too.

It's a bummer too because one of our local high schools performed as well...and we missed it!!!!!

When you are walking your neighbors dog on the morning of New Years Eve and notice this:
And know exactly which firework it is from.
We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

It is the best remains (for lack of a better word) of a firework I've spotted since 04. Of course I kept it.

I guess that is a remain from a Wishes shell? That is really cool that you can find things like that.

Better to find the wrapper in the street than to have a stray get your house (extremely rare in Disney's history, but it has happened in some other firework shows)...

You know you're a WDW nut when you're so jealous of MadEye for living so close that you could just scream.... and sometimes do....

My wife and I recently moved to Charlotte and in reorganizing my DVD collection, I came across this interesting discovery. Some years I even have duplicates if anyone's interested...lol.
Thought it was a fun fact to share.
I have a small collection as well. I even have the "Make Your Own Magic", which was on VHS and which you needed to preview a GM car at a dealership, and then have them fill out something for you and then you could send away for this free video. Thank goodness we don't have to go through all of that work these days.

You know you're a WDW nut when...
...your friends tell you about their trip to DLP, and the first idea that pops in your head is that it would make a great trip report for here on Subsonic:

Sorry for the delay in responding.
No it is from the New Years fireworks. More likely from the perimeters. They shoot them off on the night before New Years Eve like they do for Fourth of July.

Oh yeah forgot about those. The 360 perimeter is really amazing!
When you are looking for a certain item at the Disney Store so you call every store in your state (you know all the locations), call them in store generation order, and then call according to size. Proud to say I did that today in my search to find a store that still had the jumbo Beast stuffed animal which is now on sale for $59.99!
