Cool! 8)
Coming in 2006, Disney-MGM Studios Guests Can Step Behind the Scenes of 'The Chronicles of Narnia' Motion Picture.
For fans of C.S. Lewis' timeless adventure The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, Disney-MGM Studios is transforming a soundstage into the frozen world of Narnia and taking guests behind-the-scenes of the movie-making magic in the film based on the book. Guests will enter the frozen world of Narnia through a giant wardrobe.
In addition to props and set pieces, guests will see elaborate creatures, costumes, and armor used in making the film.
The walk-through experience is located in Soundstage 4 on Mickey Avenue.

Cool They did the same for the Haunted Mansion. I liked it a lot.

Wow, that is going to be so fabulous. I love sets in general and the Narnia sets looked amazing from the previews. I adored the book, only hope the movie lives up to expectations. The HM set was better than the movie in my opinion, but I just really wanted more pretty costumes.
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

Just got back from Walt Disney World. The night we arrived we went to Downtown Disney to watch The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Then the next day we went to Disney's MGM Studios. It was VERY cool walking through the wardrobe, and to watch the Ice Queen live.

My wife and I are heading out this weekend. Is this worth seeing? I mean we enjoyed the film and are wondering about what kind of things there are to see here from the movie.

The Narnia set is postively worth seeing. I actually saw it before seeing the movie and it made me want to run right out and see the film. Here's a description of what's inside.
You will go through a giant wardrobe door into the land of Narnia. The lamppost is there and you watch a preview of the film (the White Witch makes a live appearance). Then you walk past Mr. Tumnus' door into the area where you see lots of pieces from the movie. There are stone statues from the White Witches' castle and also her sleigh and wand. Lucy's costume is there and I'm sure I'm forgetting more. Anyhow, I highly recommend seeing it. You really feel like you are in Narnia!

Personally if there is more than a 15 minute wait I'd pass - we thought it was more of one long extended commercial for the movie (which we loved). It's cool to walk through the wardrobe into a snowy Narnia, but the extended preview and lack of a lot of props made us feel "ripped off" for standing in line for 30 minutes. Just IMHO.

Does anyone know when this will close to make way for the Pirates of the Caribbean 2 exhibit?
