I just read about what the main ingredient is in Beverly (Quinine) and I bet I could drink it without any reaction since I make my own tonic water at home (extracting quinine from cinchona bark). Now where the heck can I find a bottle of it in California?

I love the Beverly! I tried several times on this trip to get some of us over there so I could demonstrate, but every time we managed to get over there it was already too late and they were closed! Curses! Guess we'll have to do it next time. :(

Do they have a "World of Coke" anywhere in CA? If not, and if they still have one in Las Vegas, that would be the closest.

I've never drunk (drunken? drank? dranken? Somebody help me out here!) Beverly, because my philosophy is, why drink something that you know tastes bad? So I do not have a Beverly face, but if I did it would probably be the same face I make when I contemplate riding a roller coaster. In other words, this:

Drinking a "shot" of Beverly is like drinking a shot of rum...only thing is that the rum gives you a nice buzz. Beverly just leaves you wondering why in the heck you just drank it.
Why thank you BIG! It reminded me off the medicine I had to take for tonsillitis when I was little. It was not tasty :( I'll have some photos to share this weekend...

Nope, no more World of Coke in Vegas! :( Been gone for years.... All that's left is the retail shop.

Hmm. Does anyone else find this excuse very suspicious?

Y'all can mock me all you want, but I really do love the stuff. Mouseoholic and I did get over there and I drank a cup on our first day (I think it was the first day...) of this trip. Mouseoholic will verify for you that I loved it. Also, she and the Boilers will vouch for me that I was very pushy about trying to get over there when they were with us, and my disappointment was very genuine when it was closed each time. Just ask them....

Your disappointment may have been genuine, but I don't imagine the double-boilers felt disappointed - more like relieved!

Really? I didn't know that, my favorite drink is gin and tonic haha well I tried Beverly before I ever had tonic lol since the coke place opened when I was.... 17 I think. But ya now I can drink it pretty good, just takes a sip or two to get used to it :P

I was at the World of Coke in Atlanta and they have plenty of that stuff haha plus so many other brands you have a hard time trying each one, at least I did. But I know that one is still open so if the one in Vegas truly is closed then Atlanta is your next bet.

Awesome Beverly Face Amy!!!! And FG, is that Goofy's Barnstormer in the background of your picture???

I have to back M-dude up here, he really did seem disappointed everytime Club Cool was closed. I'm not sure how in the world he likes this drink?! But, he does!
