MmeLeota - Thank you again. I really loved all the shots I was able to get as the sun was setting. I think that's now my favorite time in the parks. And thank you for your patience (or lack thereof) for the rest of the report.

Wasn't me!mindflipper wrote:LOL!!!MmeLeota wrote:(riding up in the stretching room...I think this might only work at DL, I'm not sure)...talk about creepy!)I can't believe that! I can't remember who I told this to (Boilerdude? Mousekedude? NaCler?) back on Dec 4th. At DL, if you have someone in a wheelchair, you ride the "stretching room" in reverse back up to ground level. However, MmeLeota, at WDW, they don't do this; you exit the HM with everyone else through the crypt (and most of the time, you board the doombuggy at the same place).
Again, in the immortal words of Francis Urquhart, "You may very well think that; I couldn't possibly comment."Mousekedude wrote:...there is a story to tell about our good friend Mindflipper. Even though I had never seen him before, I knew instantly that it was him by the huge grin on his face as he approached me in the crowd (he recognized me right away, of course). But it quickly became apparent to me in our subsequent conversations and interactions that he really did not want to be photographed. This fact will become more and more apparent as the trip report goes on, but let's just say for now that one or more of the following statements contain elements of truth about our "Man of Mystery":
1) He is really a famous celebrity who doesn't want anyone to find out his true identity, or...
2) He is a secret agent of a foreign government who will be assassinated by his handlers if they see his picture posted publicly, or...
3) He is in the witness protection program, or...
4) He is just such a sweet, charming, and friendly guy that if his picture were made public he would be mobbed by hordes of lonely women, or...
5) He works for a particular Federal Agency where his identity needs to be kept secret (the agency cannot be named, but let's just say it's connected to the Secret Service...).
It is in the Yacht Club just before you get to Beaches and Cream and the Beach Club. It has Lobster Bisque for Dinner, but I did not see it on the lunch menu. I wonder if you ask nicely, they may make it for you for lunch, especially since you are famous... err... because of WHO you are I mean.mindflipper wrote:NaCler: Yachtsman Steakhouse - presumably in the Yacht Club resort, right? It has Lobster Bisque?!?![]()

It's a Mindflipper family favorite - may have to find a way to check it out. Do you know if they are open for lunch?
Thank you... I had never tried it before so I can't compare it to any others, but I know it was very good.momeja wrote:More great photos and food talk, NaCler. I've never had the lobster bisque at Yachtsman's but I've had it at Hollywood Brown Derby (I think they no longer serve it there), and it was incredible.
She's not a steak person, so I was just apologizing for that.momeja wrote:So I missed the reason for the "sorry Amy" about your steak. Would she have order it more rare or more well done? H likes his steak almost raw, which is why I'm curious.
That's why I felt that I had to post it. It was nice surprise. Of all the margaritas we had on property, that was the only place that did this.momeja wrote:Also, did you notice the hidden Mickey in your margarita? Sweet.
I figured that was the case at WDW...I know that DL is the only "true stretching room". Thanks for the info mindflipper!mindflipper wrote:LOL!!!MmeLeota wrote:(riding up in the stretching room...I think this might only work at DL, I'm not sure)...talk about creepy!)I can't believe that! Now we just got to wait for the double-boilers and Amy to check back in....
When shall I send her down? I'm sure she would appreciate a winter in Texas ~ I just heard from a friend that we are aiming for 3 below zero tonight when we get homeMouseoholic wrote:... F1gment (Amy's) mom is such a doll! I wish I could keep her...Mouseoholic!
