The Golden Gate bridge will be gone. I don't think they will have anything on it anymore that won't clash with the theme.

That would be kind of a shame since the monorail will stand out more, but there really are no iconic bridges in LA that people can name. There are some but unless you see them on TV/Film you wouldn't recognize them.

There's really not that many bridges in California but we'll see how it'll turn out.

I'm sure the Diz Marketing people have said that "California Adventures" has got a "bad image" with the public. In an episode of the Simpsons once, they were walking through a deserted area and Marge made some comment like "this reminds me of Disney's California Adventures". I do wonder if it does get renamed - and I feel it will - what the new name would be? Anyone got any suggestions?

I don't think it will get renamed. For some unknown reason (or they've explained why and I don't know), they dropped the apostrophe and the s so that it's Disney California Adventure.

The only change I would possibly expect would be the addition of Walt to the name, but even then, a name change is an expensive thing to do.

Wow what a crappy looking day... Then again, perfect weather for small crowds.
We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

Oh, trust me; it's far worse. It's been raining since Thursday/Friday and it won't stop until Wednesday. It was horrible on Saturday and it's just as bad today. I feel like I'm either stuck in some monsoon weather or in Seattle.

Yeah, I just got back from an office outing/lunch to see Tron Legacy and the streets are flooded in parts of OC.

Hello everybody, I've been away from the boards for quite a while (life has kept me busy) so I totally feel out of the loop. I am wondering if anybody knows what the plans are for the Aladdin show and theater? Will the show be back or is there a new show planned? Thanks and sorry if this has been covered somewhere. I couldn't seem to find it.

The last I have read is that Aladdin is staying...

From what I recall, the Aladdin show is going to stay. They were debating about changing it to a Toy Story Musical that the cruise lines had but since the TSM didn't do so well, they decided to not go with it.

After seeing Finding Nemo - the Musical in WDW, I wouldn't mind having Aladdin replaced by that! Nemo is an awesome show with lovely music :D
