How do you run into a monorail pylon? It's not like they're draped with invisibility cloaks, or cleverly painted to look as if they're not there.

Probably wasn't paying attention to the road in front. I'm actually surprised it hadn't happened at DLR since we use to have the parking lot under the monorail tracks too.

Seems like there is more to this story than somebody not paying attention.
I'm probably willing to bet that minor incidents with cars scraping the pillars have happened in the past due to people not paying attention.

nice find len. i was thinking the same thing from the limited view pic. it looked to me like a little more speed was involved than they were admitting to in the first report.
when we do chef mickey's, we typically take the walk back to mk, not the monorail (it's a little faster than monorailing through all the resorts). here again is proof positive why here, or anwhere, a parking lot is a parking lot. watch out. even that particular day on this last trip i had to tell my my older one to slow down and stay close when we did the return walk. it's easy to fall out of reality at wdw (i won't even look at a newspaper box), but on certain things you have to stay real. parking lots, and downtown disney are good places to pay extra good attention. you never know.

Well, remember this was right around the time of the MM meet-up... maybe it was a Mayhem Marauder causing trouble??? Maybe someone got into the RUM a little early??? No one will ever know, except for us...
