Cool! Now I wish I would have actually watched the parade

Darn short attention span anyhow

Beat me to it! I find it funny they decided to play that in a parade on a channel that is associated with Universal.

I would have thought NBC had some rights as to what music could be played at that point in the parade (don't want any rights infringement since that portion is being broadcasted)...

I saw that! It was the highlight of the parade for me. I actually started singing along to it
When you equate standing in line to go into the Disney Store as similar to standing in line to go on an attraction at WDW.

Disney does play the theme from E.T. (a Universal Studios property for those that don't know) in the loop inside The Land. Maybe it was payback?

When you're running a 10K on Thanksgiving morning and you have Innoventions running through your head the entire race!

It really helped me get up those hills!

Universal's rights are not exclusive to that music; John Williams retains some rights as its composer, and I gather Disney has a deal with the composer over the use of his film music he composed...

...when "Air Force One" is on the TV at grandma's house, and you're not paying much attention until almost the very end when you suddenly hear a section of the music that you recognize as part of the Soarin' soundtrack... and you excitedly yell "hey, that's from Soarin'!!!!" (and the whole family then stares at you like you're insane... they just don't get it....).

Oops, should have been more specific...
Yeah, the one starring Harrison Ford.

Good movie. Yeah, the song "parachutes" from the soundtrack is played in the Soarin' queue and at MGM in front of the hat and Great Movie Ride.

When you notice it's the Reedy Creek rescue vehicles responding to the accident outside the entrance to your neighborhood.
