Mouskecouple - I echo the sentiments of BB, Amy & mindflipper. Thank you for the great gifts. Even without the pictures, you can see that a lot of time, planning, effort, expense and Disney love went into creating these. It's been tough trying to keep the box away from my kids, but they can't have it. This one's mine. :D

I was surprised by the fact they were doing the work indoors - on the dining room table? I did notice in the background in one photo the "ear" from his other work-in-progress, the Mickey shaped shadow box...

Yeah, we were doing the work in the evenings, and with both vehicles in the garage there just wasn't much room to work other than on the dining room table, covered with plastic sheeting. Plus, the weather had been nasty, so we didn't want to be applying sensitive finishes in the humid garage. But it worked out okay.

You sure better keep it away from the kids!
Nothing personal against the little ankle-biters, but yeah... this was meant to be a gift for you, and it's meant to be displayed, not to be played with by kids. Glad to see you feel the same way about it. :D

Maybe DW and I will be able to make the trip next year...for the 2nd Annual Mayhem Marauder's Weekend. DW has to have colon surgery this December...so we're having to stay home this winter.

Thank you all for the compliments. We were happy to do it. It makes us feel good to give a little back...

...and Big, you better take good care of your sweetie! I'm so sorry you guys have to go through that, but hopefully it will all turn out just fine. As far as a "2nd annual Mayhem Marauders' weekend...." well, we'll just have to see what the future brings, eh? :D

...yeh, it's hard to get the solar system to do a planetary alignment, and yet that's easier in comparison than trying to get everyone available for the same weekend!

Thanks everyone. Hopefully thing will get back to normal for her after the surgery...so it's good that we are getting it done before having any little mouseketeers.
