My First Polynesian Stay!
Well, it's official, my dream trip is happening. Although it's not as long as I'd like (it never is), we're still going to be staying at the Polynesian for four nights (taking advantage of the 40% offer). We're flying in late on Tues. Feb. 8th, staying at Pop for one night, and then onto the Poly, checking out on Sunday.
We already have reservations for 'Ohana on our first night, but does anybody have any other suggestions? It should be a fairly good time to go down crowd-wise. I am just so excited to finally be on the monorail!

You need to talk to Boilerbabe! She can tell you about every square inch of that resort!

Oh you're staying at my beloved Poly!!! You will NOT be disappointed! If you're a coffee lover you must try the Kona coffee, out of this world! Did you request a specific longhouse?! Tokelau and Tahiti are good requests, they have some lovely garden views and Tokelau has some partial Castle views! The quiet pool is really lovely. Get a spot on the beach and you have a fantastic view of the fireworks from MK, they will pipe in the music too. Before the fireworks is the water pageant. There is a Dole Whip machine at Captian Cook's. What else am I forgetting?!?! Any questions...let me know!

Sounds like a great trip! I've never been to the Poly so I expect a detailed report when the visit is over.

The Poly is great. I really enjoy just sitting in the lobby and taking it all in. The waterfall and ambience in there is fantastic.
