Re: Vinylmation
If it weren't $600 I would get it. That's way too much for one figure.

Really? Again with the stripper?!? You need to find another way to fill your time my friend.Wizzard419 wrote:For only a little more you can get Official Tron stripper heels.

No, NaCler, I didn't even care for the NBC versions. The Japanese toy versions - I think they're called kubricks (anyone confirm that for me?) - looked better.
And for $600, it should not only cook, but mop, do dishes, wash laundry, fill my car with gas, make the bed, and wipe my...never mind.

Bad Jacca, no more innuendo flakes for you!
And you all saw the heels, what else would you call super tall high heels that are all silver/metalic?
The japan versions I saw were called Trexi, so now we have 3 different companies making them. I wonder which of the japanese ones made them first?

Re: Vinylmation
mindflipper - I just looked up kubricks and found this:

These look more like Lego characters...
The Trexi ones sound more like the Vinylmation. Their copyright lists 2006. Disney says that Vinylmation just turned 2 so... maybe they did "borrow" the idea???

Wouldn't be the first time they creatively redistributed another company's intellectual property, and it sure will not be the last.

"redistribute another's idea" - you mean like those bean-bag things they sell on the Disney Store On-line that look awful lot like Ty's beanie things from years ago?

Or taking the concept of a toy that requires the user to build (at a premium) where they can customize the design to their tastes with various extra pieces sold al a carte.... which was taken from another toy store who sued the more famous counterpart (and I think lost).
