It would make a fun video, though! Since my foot surgery 9 years ago, and my ankle surgery 5 years ago, and with my bad knees, I make a funny picture trying to run. But I'm working on it. So NaCler and I would probably provide a pretty comical view as we lurch and stumble our way along. We'll have to give it a shot!
Oh my word! I will definitely volunteer to be the videographer for that "special" race  Although, the video might be a bit shaky from all the laughing I will be doing
It would seem cruel to laugh....it would be like laughing at people competing in Special Olympics....

Thank you guys for the morning laugh! With all the stress here lately, I've definitely slipped *read: jumped with conviction* off the wagon! I've not been making sensible decisions and need to get back on the straight and narrow.

Congratulations Mousekedude! You'll exceed your goal for sure!!!

NaCler, I completely understand your situation. Hang in there buddy, your body is adjusting...you'll be headed in the right direction soon. Sometimes changing up your routine or switching around your diet can jump start the weight loss again.

Keep up the great work everyone!!!! :D

Yeah, I can't speak for NaCler, but for myself I envision it looking somewhat like that.

(waiting patiently for Jacca to chime in here.....)

While I must say I would never laugh at the Special Olympians ~ they are athletes that could kick my butt  but would help me all the way to the finish line without thinking twice ~ I think I would be unable to control a few giggles and snickers watching NaCler and Mousekedude lurch and hobble down Main Street. I'm guessing they would both move a little faster if we put a few princesses at the end to cheer them on though

I'm betting they both will be smart and say that their wives are their princesses...we could try it as an experiment, do they run toward Jasmine or their wife, hmmmm?!

Neither. We'll be so busy trying to suck in our guts that we won't be able to move.

Seriously, though... you got it right in the first part. Our wives are our princesses. :ariel: :ariel:

I remember going back to the World Showcase for a last minute souvenir, forgetting which side the country was on that I was going to, and having to run all the way around so I wouldn't miss the bus to get to the plane on time.
And I was heading back to the hotel to check out, retrieve our luggage, seeing a monorail stuck and wondering if that was where my daughter was at that time... trying to decide if I should miss the bus to the airport or stay when luckily at that point she screeched in, souvenir in hand.... so I did not have to make that decision, which might not have been in her favor at that time.

Nice scores, Sleepy! We haven't really had time to mess with the Wii lately, but I'm sure we will this week.
By the way, I've lost a couple more pounds, so now my total lost so far is 21! So I've already reached the lower threshold of my goal, and I'm still chugging along. I may even lose more than my planned 25 by the time of the trip, if I stay disciplined. Woo hoo!

Remember... more lbs down = more RSDW's at the Poly! Nice job bud. I am proud of you!

We got in a little extra exercise this week by hanging out our friend's house where they have the TSM game for Wii...since we do not have one, we played through it. Obviously not the same experience as the ride, but still tons of fun and a workout for your arms!!! :D

I wonder if Mousekedude has too many Dole Whips, will he inflate and become a walking Dole Whip, like Violet Beauregard became a blueberry? :?
