We just got one about a week or so ago, but I'm not sure which issue it is. It has "Tangled" on the cover, and doesn't say anything about Tron. Are we running behind on our issues, I wonder....?

Weird, I already got that one about 2 weeks ago...
Odd....the "Tangled" one was the fall issue. We just got the winter issue and it has TRON on it. D23 made 2 different covers. One is for the members only and the other is the standard newsstand issue. It just came out this week I think...if you haven't received it yet, I'd contact D23.
...I just thought of something. Did you recently renew? If so, it might take a little longer to get your magazine too. It took an extra 2 or 3 weeks for us to get our fall issues because we had just renewed.

Ah... that's the rub. Mouseoholic renewed only a few weeks ago. So now we're playing catch-up I guess. Hopefully the winter issue should be on its way soon then.

Yep, that sounds about right then. It took forever for us to receive the fall issue...at least it felt like forever.

I just got mine a few days ago and it was definitely the TRON issue, with a smelly (at least to me) mouse pad. Not a fan of the rubber smell

Honestly, I didn't smell mine...but I think I was too excited about it to notice. i was going to take it to work, but I think it may grow legs there...
I haven't had the chance to read any of the articles yet, but we thummbed through it the day we got it and it appears to be another well put together issue.

Ok all you Chicagoland area D23 members (here's looking to you Boilers and Amy

)...I just saw this on the D23 site (sorry, I haven't been on in a while...). There's a member mixer on Sunday Feb. 20 at the Michigan Avenue Disney Store.

Hope someone can go...

Sounds like fun!

Oooo! Thanks for the heads-up MmeLeota! I'll have to check the calendar and see what is happening next weekend. Sounds like it would be fun...
Did anyone else get their 2011 D23 kit yet? I was pleased to find a D23 watch included with the Spring magazine

YES! We got ours about a week or so ago! I must say, I was totally impressed by the watch! Hubby wears it everyday now. Haven't looked at the mag yet though...it's been crazy busy around here.

I haven't taken the magazine out either. And I put the watch back in the box for now. I was just happy to see something fun and useful, and a little (ok, a lot) better than the calendar the first year

I just saw this Bambi event happening in Chicago on Monday Feb. 21st...I know it's probably a "school night", but it sounds kinda cool. I love any chance to see a classic Disney film on the big screen.

That would be fun too! But not doable on a Monday night ~ especially with all the snow and ice we have right now, a 2-1/2 hour drive home could easily stretch into a lot more

What if the weather improves by then...?
How far do the boilers live from Chi-town? They're D23 too. Maybe you can convince'em to go along too?

They are a lot closer, it probably is no more than an 1-1/2 hours or less for them. I can't justify missing work to go see a movie. I am going to check on the other D23 event at the downtown Disney store happening on the Sunday before. That might work...if there are still tickets available.
