unfortunately, can't afford a trip to either DLR or WDW right now. I'm literally saving loose change for a trip to WDW sometime in 2006/2007. hopefully by 2006 I'll have enough so I can see the 35th anniversary down there... 8)

Wow loose change! Thats devotion. I cash mine in when I get to about $20 worth of change.

Hmmm... What I will do?
I have no idea, But, for sure I won't be in DL for it since I live 45 minutes from WDW.

yep, loose change. at the end of every day, any change I have goes in to be counted and rolled. I have about $110 worth at the moment with a roll of quarters and a roll of dimes coming soon. keep in mind that I've only been saving the loose change for about 1 1/2 to 2 months. Also, in addition to loose change, I'm also taking bottles and cans in and using the deposit returns. per week, I average about $5 - $10 worth of money to add in  . As soon as I reach the $200 level, I'm going to take all the money in and start a savings account which I'll do some direct deposit from work. Should be able to go to WDW by 2006... :D

NICE!!! Every little bit of savings does add up!!! I wish I had your discipline!!! Keep it up!!!

As far as the 50th Anniversary goes... I can't plan what I'm doing a month from now let alone 7 months from now so who knows??? I'd love to go to the park, but I'll probably be here listening to the retrospective...

...the future is unclear...

And to think I just put my cans in the recycle bin out at the street for pickup. I don't get a penny for them!

what a waste you pay to have your cans and bottles picked up. so your trash Co. get money from you and recycling.

I hope to do 3 of the things on the list:

Listen to Subsonic's special
Go to Disneyland
Go to Disneyworld

It is very sad. I have not been to D-land in over a year since I moved from So.Cal. to Phoenix. But then again, I am missing all the tarps and when I go next it will be magical!

I'm scared the crowds will be too much. I might just avoid them.

I'm having a special broadcast?

 You're not going to have a special broadcast? Of course you are.

I told you about that 50th retrospective playlist and ran with it.

50th Retrospective

Post by sockfire » Oct Tue 19, 2004 12:49 am

Clocking in around 12 hours, the 50th Anniversary Retrospective will span over 100 tracks.

It starts with the Disneyland Hotel Tram... cruises down Main Street... circles the park, having lunch at the Blue Bayou, spending much of the time going back in time, and ends with another trip on the hotel tram...

But you'll have to wait...
