I knew I wasn't crazy. They had a Gingerbread tree and house at the Contemporary last year.

Big - Thanks for the video. I'm really excited about staying at the Yacht Club in December now.

Yeah...I had that special on my DVR for several months before I had to remove it due to lack of space. Don't worry though...I have every other WDW special still on the DVR! ;)

You and your Momma are staying in style!! Don't tell my Mom about any of the luxurious things there, she might not be as happy about the All-Star Music then!

Amy - There is NOTHING wrong with the All-Star Music. I've stayed at the ASM many times. If we had not been at WDW in May and booked the 40% off for a deluxe room, we would not be staying at Yacht Club in December.

Thanks for the pep talk ;) We have stayed at the All-Star Sports a few times, as well as Caribbean Beach...other than the All Stars being a bit on the noisy side, we actually found the bus service more prompt staying in the bigger resort. Plus we are never in the room other than when we are sleeping so it just makes sense to save money there so we can splurge a bit on fun things ~ like the Segway tour :D

Food also seem to be a bit more reasonable (by Disney standards) at the All-Stars!! I like they sell half yards of BEER!

I stayed at ASMo the time before last---I found absolutely nothing wrong with it. Like NaCler said, if it wasnt for the super-duper deal I got this time on POR, I would be staying there again. We really liked it...I've heard people complain about noise also---we heard nothing of the sort. Maybe it was the time of year, who knows.

That Segway Tour is going to be a blast!

Just wanted to jump on board with this -- Grand Floridian is a must (and do buy a roof shingle from the gingerbread bakery - SO GOOD!).

Others not to be missed (as others have mentioned)-
Animal Kingdom Lodge
Wilderness Lodge
Boardwalk

That said, even the hotels with the less impressive lobbies always manage to amaze me with their theming. Perfect example is Old Key West -- there are sea turtles, sea stars, sand dollars and the like on their wreaths. Too cool!

You need to store it on another site, like picasa or flickr and then use the IMG button in the editing toolbar.
Thanks for the pic---I will check it out at home (can't see FB here at work :( )

And thanks for your suggestions--sound like GF is an overwhelming YES
I can't WAIT!!!!!

Fun! It would look a funky out of context (knowing it was at a Disney resort) but it definitely fits the theme of OKW!

I agree with the consensus The Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge are the most important resorts to see. My wife and I also went to the Contemporary and they had a really nice Christmas set but I don't remember if they had it every year. But I'll be honest, I think you should try and see as many resorts as you can. Each resort has it's own unique look.

Like everyone has already mentioned...the Grand Floridian is a MUST see along with the Yacht and Beach Club. There is nothing like Disney at Christmas!!!
