Since I was making up chems for halloween most of the day yesterday it was mostly simple (less active cooking attention) stuff.
A starter of roasted tomato tartare/confit with mixed greens and mozzarella
To drink a more sour Juice of a few Flowers
For dinner: roast rack of lamb (I could have kept it in the oven a few mins less), spinach gratan, and roast potatoes.
Fisnish it all off with bittersweet chocolate chip bread pudding and a whiskey sauce.

I love the picture of these great meals your corporate chef makes for you!!

Isn't a corporate chef the one that does catering/cafeteria? I think it would be a private chef in that case. You need to get your conspiracy theories in order otherwise they will come for you in the night.

When you run the company, you can make them do what ever you want!!

I'm skipping right to dessert! You had me at bittersweet chocolate chip, but then you had to add whiskey sauce

With that, dear memories of my departed Grandmother and her beloved whiskey sauce at the holidays immediately sprang to mind!

That looks yummy!! How many shepherds do you need to make one of those?
We, the family and I, went and collected a bunch of Persimmons this weekend and Baloo made pudding. That's one of the best things I've ever tasted!! If you haven't ever had it, you've got to try it!! Persimmon trees grow over most of the country. Look it up and see if they are were you are, it well worth the effort!

Three and if you want good quality they should be from Northern Ireland or Eastern Scottland.
I've never seen persimmons turned into pudding. I usually just have the raw or I might turn them into ice cream/sorbet/cocktail mixers if the yield from a friend's tree is enough. You see a lot of dried ones during the holidays at the Japan market.

Think pudding as in an English bread type.

The actual point of the liquor (originally) in steamed puddings was not just for flavor but as a preservative. Which is why the christmas pudding needed to be made a long period of time (weeks or months) before it was served.

Someone beat me to the Hypno Bread today so I took Braaaiiinnn Bread.
For dinner I made a beef tenderloin sandwich with carmelized onions, satueed mushrooms, and prudence purple tomato since the plant is still producing fruit since the seasons are all screwed up.
