I haven't heard anything about a refurb to the Villiage Haus, but it is possible. As far as the menu, I've never eaten there before, so I don't know the menu now. So long as the italian food (if it comes to pass) doesn't taste exactly like L' Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante. When we ate there last trip (in 2002), the food was bland and the staff didn't know the name of certain stuff (namely the type of bread they serve).

I liked that you could always get a "cheap" veggie burger, etc. there... Oh well...

Yes, they are 'refurbishing' that restaurant, and the menu has gone a bit italian with pizza, salads, turkey panini, and italian subs, along with mac 'n cheese and turkey roll-ups for the kiddos, in addition. The concerns were that there were a lot of burger joints at the MK, but little variety otherwise.

Cosmic Ray's offers a veggie burger, if that helps. Also look to Columbia Harbour House for some decent vegetarian offerings.

I believe it's across the way from Peter Pan in FantasyLand isn't it? I've never eaten there but have stopped there quite often cause they have a very large restroom located to the right side of the place. It seems to always be a stop for my wife and I. Sometimes we pass right through it. I always loved the big paintings on the wall of Pinocchio and the little statue of Pinocchio!

Will be interesting to see if they do any other changes, hopefully not. The atmosphere is great... They had good hot dogs there, it'd be nice to get a sub though, can't really get sandwiches at fast food spots it seems.

Pinocchio Village Haus is right next to it's a small world, in fact there's a window that overlooks the queue/launch area (I believe). It's one place that I'm planning on trying the next time I go down

Yes, there is a window overlooking the Small World loading area. There are also all sorts of nooks and crannies with fabulous murals from Pinocchio. It is a tradition for my family to stop there each time we go. Hope the new Italian food is as delicious as it sounds!
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

Yes, it is right next to Small World. We go in the entrance next to the carousel though, and seem to spend an inordinate amount of time in the bathroom there. LOLOL!

The Village Haus always had one of the best fixins' bars....If that goes away, where can I find another one like it......? Great call on Columbia Harbor House......One of the best there.....

Columbia House is very underrated. I also think they could use the space for a neat boy's themed character breakfast, perhaps Peter Pan.

Try Pecos Bill's for a decent fixin's bar. I'm trying to remember if Cosmic Ray's has one or not, but I hate the atmosphere in there so don't go often.

Cosmic Ray's does have a big fixin area - if you get a seat outside of Ray's music zone it is a nice place to eat and have nice views.

Agreed on the Harbor House - that is a great place to eat, such good theming and usually pretty empty. I like the second level seating in the skyway over the sidewalk to Fantasyland - good peoplewatching and neat views inside and out.

Pecos Bill's is good but only at DL - another one with lots of space and lots of theming

Thanks G2! I do like that area to eat at Cosmic Rays! One time when we were there, the *fattest* duck came up and started yelling at us to feed him. It was the funniest thing. Like we were the only ones in the park. My daughter slipped him something (huge no-no) and all his harem came running over from the bushes. It was wicked funny (yes, I made her stop, but to see them all come race-waddling over was wicked funny) Oooh, I digress!
