All the original classic margarita recipes use three basic ingredients: Tequila, Triple Sec (cointreau, etc.), and lime juice, with minor variations of proportion as well as ancillary ingredients such as salt and sugar. So a margarita with Triple Sec is a "true margarita." Anything else is the abomination!
I'm not talking about those as an abomination, I'm talking about the slurpiee machine, TGIFridays, things that are put out. Whomever thought that was a good idea should be set on fire.
Now that I can totally agree with. I snicker disdainfully to myself when I see places serve so-called "margaritas" like that. Pffffttt!!!! You couldn't pay me enough to drink one of those!

Dont' get me started on how people feel anything served in a cocktail glass is automatically a "martini".

    I know!!! They have all kinds of "this"-tini, and "that"-tini, and "mule-swill"-tini... it's enough to make your head spin!
Not to be a hypocrite, though, I do like some of those. Give me an occasional apple-tini (light on the apple, not too sweet) or chocolate-tini (gotta be made right though, again: not too sweet) and I'm alright with that. But there's too many desserts out there being called "something"-tinis. Abomination!

That is acceptable. Calling this a martini is not, calling it a cocktail is fine by me.

Time for two days worth of pr0n, I hope you brought a towel.

First up Rib eye with potato/courgette pancake and asparagus.

Next, babyback ribs with grilled sweetcorn, and buttermilk biscuits.

and finally Rao's ricotta cheesecake, note the absence of a crust which makes for a lighter texture and better rounded product. Though if you cook it till it matches the picture in the cookbook you will have a pan full of dry cheese like product.

Mmmmm, all that food looks tempting except for the steak. Although if you like steak, I'm sure that one would taste good.
Are you truly the master behind these creations or do you actually have a personal chef?
