Yeah. There's a soundtrack to the ride. It's a surf guitarish song that really ups the thrill of the ride. I think it's by Gary Hoey?

Oh, and "Welcome Home."

I didn't tell me wife about the loop, the first time we went on it (years ago). She doesn't like thrill rides (E Ticket) and deffinately not loops. I kept her busy talking to me and had her face away from the ride while in line. It was funny when we hit the loop.   Shame on me.

screamin soundtrack

Post by kapper1965 » Nov Wed 23, 2005 9:21 am

if you have never heard the soundtrack to california screamin i would encourage you to request it in the queue on subsonic radio. it has a similar feel to the original space mt. soundtrack except with a carnival feel to it.

Wow! What did your wife say after the ride?

The loop is really fun!

kapper1965- yeah the Screamin' theme is really cool. It's by Gary Hoey, right? Another surf legend like Dick Dale.

Too bad on the sound, it was getting quieter then I too noticed more trains were losing sound. I wish they'd bring it back and crank it up so you can really hear it. It went so well with the ride and was a perfect fit. Nothing like surf guiter on the boardwalk!

I'm hoping when Screamin' goes down for refurbishment (sometime next year, rumored), audio is worked on. as well as a lot of other ride components.

I just went a few months ago. And I will be going again in a few days (woo hoo!) So I'll check it out. But It has been working every time I have visited the park. The one that was never working when I went was the superstar limo. I think they just replaced that with somethign else, like monsters inc. I think.
