Thanks for the link to the pictures! Gives us a good idea of how it will look around there for our trip.

Blah, I don't think we'll be spending a whole bunch of time there, not until the renovation is over with at least. Even then, not sure how I'll feel about the whole area?!

Even in July, the feeling in Fantasyland was not the same. We put off Fantasyland until the end of the stay. It was terrible since we ended up first hitting Philharmagic on night 7 of 8.

I think it can only be worse now as the dirt pile and cranes are visible over the walls. When I was there it was just the never ending walkway of walls.

You have to look at the bright side of things. It won't be pretty for awhile, but then, we will have some new attractions to visit and hopefully enjoy. I am looking forward to the new Little Mermaid attraction and hope it is as grand as the one they are constructing out in Cali :ariel:

The screaming kids that need a nap usually ruin it for me.

I know what you mean Amy, but I always feel like I wish they would not refurb anything while I'm there to ruin my experience. Everything should "magically" be normal while we're there and they can resume the refurb once I leave!

Whenever DH and I see screaming/crying children we always say "there no crying in Disney!"

I still look on the bright side. The only way I'll be sad is if one of my favorite attractions is closed for refurb when we are there. I think we will be pretty safe in December though, most everything should be up and running for the holidays.
And does the "No crying in Disney" actually make them stop?!

I have one question about the Fantasyland expansion and what I find out could potentially ruin my DS5s trip, is Dumbo still up and running...flying?

Dumbo will be up and running until Jan. 2011. It should be a safe bet to be running during the holidays. However, this is all tentative and subject to change.

Thanks, I hadn't seen it on any lists so I wasn't sure when it would go down.

Wait! I ALWAYS cry on Main Street, and during Wishes or Illuminations. Does that count under the no crying rule??
