I thought I just heard on the Inside the Maagic podcast that WDW will be replacing Wishes with Hallowishes everynight for the last two weeks of October. I also heard that the 360 degree fireworks will be absent from this year Halloween and Xmas shows; returning for New Years.
Has anybody else heard this?
I'll be at WDW for the 1st week of October and am hoping to see both versions of Wishes. I'd be kind of bummed if I paid for exta park admission to the Not-So-Scary party only to be treated to the same show going on every night.

I have tix for Oct 2nd. Went last year and it was a blast.
I'm gonna try to call Disney later today to confirm what I posted above. I know they usually only do Hallowishes during the Not-So-Scary party, but Ricky from the ITM podcast mentioned that it would be everynight for the last two weeks of Oct, even if the schedule says Wishes.
I'll let you know what the folks on the mouse line have to say.

I have never been to Mickey's Not So very Scary Halloween thingy... what kind of things go on? I know I can always look it up, but I like to hear the Disney Fans thoughts on it. What do they do? What kind of things go on? How does the place look? And could a couple of 30 year olds with no children find it entertaining, or is really for kids.

OMG My sis and I (Both in our 30s... with no kids) Had a BLAST! EVERYONE gets to trick our treat ... they even give you sturdy orange bags! (bring your costume... it's more fun that way). The treat or treating lines go SO fast... and different places have different types of candy. And the little ones are doing treat or treating AND Character greets...... SOOO the open rides have practically NO LINES! Also the parade and fireworks are AWESOME! (I'm not usually fond of parades either... I LOVED this one!)
I HIGHLY recommend it!

This year I plan on dressing up like the original batman and running around and saying "give me candy" like fez from That 70's show.

Just an announcement my brother posted the Videos from last years Boo Too You Parade and Happy Hallowishes on Google Video.
Link to the Fireworks:

Link to the Parade:

Now everyone who Listens to the Boo Too You Parade over and over and over can watch the Parade and not have to select it here.

It seems that everyone likes the Haunted Mansion Graveyard Characters. The music from that portion of the parade is awesome.

Yeah the grave diggers are my favorites too. I would love to dress up as theme for the MNSSHP but I wouldn't be able to get in the park. Maybe I can do it for my yard haunt next year. The only thing I will have to do is make a green three piece suit, a D hand spade shovel with a flint tip, and learn to do that type of make-up and I will be all set.

Why wouldn't you be able to get into the park? There are TONS of adults dressed up for MNSSHP. GO FOR IT!
I just wish I had brought a costume last year!

I believe the reasoning would be that you can;t bring anything that could be considered/used as a weapon (the shovel), as well as you can;t dress up like the cast members - confuses the guests. correct me if I'm wrong on either of these reasons, Dr.

No you pretty much have it covered. That is actually what I was typing earlier today, about 30 sec after knedeau posted, but I was taken away from the computer before I finished.
