Here are some good pics of the expansion from Dumbo's point of view. Also, there is a pic in there of what Mark and Len were too scared to try during their trip in July.

Only issue is that the person being lifted in that case weighs a lot less than me. It was towards the end of the vacation, and as you saw from our dining, I ate very well :D

Thanks for the pictures and it is great to see the Fantasyland Expansion is preogressing at full speed yet. MAYBE if we get lucky they can run ahead of schedule ;)

Trust me when I say this, the crane they are using for TLM is a lot bigger in person!
We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

MadEye, do you have a vantage point of any of those cranes from where you live? How far away can you still see them?

Well, if it weren't for the trees blocking the view I would. Can't see much, but I know where to look.

There was a video on youtube from Dumbo by Jeff Lange. Didn't look like they had done much except for move some dirt piles around.

Behind that big dirt pile is the vertical construction of The Little Mermaid. Why else would that huge crane be there? Not to mention the vertical construction I saw last week on the Beauty and the Beast Be Our Guest restaurant.

I've seen cranes erected and just sitting for months with no progress on what is supposed to be going up. It's called union labor.

Gotta love that union labor...... :x
But in all seriousness, sometimes in construction you just gotta get the big equipment set up and leave it for a while. When it's needed, it's needed, but at all other times it just sits there. It's much more cost-effective to leave it in place for when you need it rather than setting it up and tearing it down over and over again. So we just don't know what's going on, I guess....
