"Correct"? There's a right or wrong way to enjoy Disney? :? I just go to have fun...I wonder if I've been doing it the right way or the wrong way?... :?

Shouldn't all the hotels on Mackinac (if there even is more than one) be high-class hotels? It is 'spensive up there!!
You would be surprised, not all of them are fabulous. There are a ton of hotels, B&B's and condos on the island. Some of them charge simply for the view, and others have charm and a view! We have found our fav. now and won't stay anywhere else when we visit again.

Very funny mindflipper, yes, all hotel bathrooms shold have H2O, I meant the product.

Sorry, b-babe, could not pass up the opportunity there. I knew you meant "bottled" H2O.

You must be careful, there is dihydrogen oxy pollution in every hotel room at WDW!!

The only time I was up there we camped on the "other" side. While Mackinac was pretty, I didn't find stepping over the horse piddle rivers to be very pleasant :(

LOL that was a poor choice of words. What I mean by correct, is I try to figure out if they are doing what is right for them... ie Extra Magic Hours, Dining, etc.

I know what you mean Amy, the "golden rivers" are mostly in the gutters though, just beware of the "road apples". For all the beauty that the island offers, we don't mind the horses. :D

Can I send you our information and have you make it into a correct itinerary? I am having no luck getting time to work on even a rough schedule :(
If Mouseoholic wasn't so darned busy these days I'd say send it to her for refining. She could make it really sing. Heck, send it anyway, and if she has time I know she'll be happy to give it a glance....

If I had something to send :( I might! Our printer has decided it doesn't want to print...again
I guess I'm going to have to make a stop at the library to print out the park schedules to have some sort of starting point for a rough schedule. I know I've said it before, but this weekend I am getting something done by-golly!!

On topic (for once, LOL).....
.... when you get home from a short vacation and before you even unpack you're getting your WDW music playing and catching up on all the mayhem you've missed on Subsonic.

We went to Corpus Christi/Padre Island. The trip report is simple: it rained. A lot.
All the flooding in C.C. actually made the national news. We spent most of the time hunkered down in our condo, but we did venture out here and there for some fishing, a little kayaking, and a little beach combing. All in all, it was a very relaxing three days for me... Mouseoholic is actually still down there with her parents; she's flying home tomorrow night. I had to come home last night so I could go to work today. :(

What did you catch? How was the shelling with all the weather? That's the best time to do the Sanibel Stoop! You found a kayak that fit you?

When you plan on having a lot of Disney music and movies on your iPod with you as you wait to see if you fill a role for Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights.
We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”
